None of these kits are super easy, but look great when you take the time. Lube your hoses with some WD-40 or the like before you slide the stainless on. Plan some time to "putt" and get it all together. Don't even start if you have to have it back out of the garage in 45min!

They don't tell you that it will NOT fit all hoses. It's a nightmare trying to put this over hose's if you can get them on. I tossed mine.

beautiful appearance..be CAREFUL when messing with the SS lines, they are sharp! use gloves to install...need to tape a few times around the circumference if you are cutting it...cut throught the tape so the ends don't fray... Don't cut it too short and try to stretch it out or the weave opens and you can see your rubber hose underneath, thus destroying the looks and value of the SS appearance.

Looks really good. Took advice from other reviews. Wore cut proof gloves. Prestretched larger hose sleeves with broom handle. Applied lubricant, and slowly fit sleeves over the hoses. Cut sleeves to fit with scissors. Took about half hour. Worth the money. Used on my 1972 Chevelle with a 350 engine.

I read several reviews saying the items were either old, some were discolored as if in sun for a long time. I have used items like these for 30, 40 years. I took a chance figuring what the heck. The package was sun bleached some, the hose and clamps look okay. The complaint is if you notice the hose is somehow pulled apart, can only guess it was when it was packaged. I will use this on lower hose. Live and learn.

sleeving works great nice to cover up normal looking hose. I had some older sleeving this stuff is not woven as tight as but it looks almost as good and is alot easier to install then the old stuff. i recamend getting some electrical tape when you do sleeving also. then you use the tape to hold sleeving tight at the ends and trim excess. I purchased a much more expensive pre-sleeved hose and that is what they do at the factory.

Very difficult to fit on older radiator hoses even with Vaseline.

Cool items.. make my engine compartment look great!! fit was snug BUT clean and simple like expected.. I'd order again for sure..
