Instructions are in the package, but the basics are: 1) remove the penetrating object, 2) Force the rasp into the hole and push/pull a few times to roughen the inside of the hole, 3) Insert a plug into the insertion tool, 4) Apply rubber cement to plug, 5) Force insertion tool into the hole until about 2/3 of the plug is in the tire, 6) Rapidly remove the insertion tool while taking care not to twist. ALWAYS FOLLOW THE INCLUDED DIRECTIONS.

what do you use the slime for? is it necessary?

There is no slime, Slime is the company name. Rubber cement is used as a adhesive and lubricant as well. It is necessary for a proper repair.

is this for a car or just motorcycle? will it work for SUV tire?

This should work for any tubeless tire. FYI, I've had my tire plugged since April of this year and have over 6,000 miles on the plugged tire and still no leaks. Plugs may only be intended for temporary use but they are better than many will lead you to believe.
