These stay hot for 4-6 hours and really are great for sore muscles. They have a very low odor, which is not unpleasant. They are adhesive like a band-aid with little perforations in it and I find them very comfortable. Great product, they are a little on the expensive side, but the price on Amazon was much better than our local Chinese medicine store.

These patches were my go-to for back ache... not this time... for some reason there was no relief...they did scar the skin nonetheless
