Q: What is the shelf life of these balls? Not the playing time, but how long can I store them before they are not at their optimal bounce.

I've had mine for almost a year and they still bounce almost as well as brand new normal balls, and better than any air compression balls over two weeks old.

Q: 72 box available? If Wilson truly wanted to cut packaging, they would re-introduce the 72 ball box enabling them to go straight into hopper.

Q: Are these suitable for use in a ball machine

Yes. I use them in my Lobster Elite ball machine. Have never had a misfire. Other than discoloring after several weeks/months of use, these balls last forever!
