Can anyone advise if you remove the covering before use

I would say no. I remember reading another customer comment saying she wished she had been told not too. I have had mine a good 6 months, did not remove the covering and have had no problems,

Perfect for mastectomy patients.

I got this for my friend who has just had a single mastectomy due to covid19 she couldnt have reconstruction. She was crying with joy when she tried it on in her bra. It looks amazing and even with a tight top on you wouldnt know one breast was this. Cant thank you enough.
