Great value: A Sturdy Ratchet Screwdriver with Versatile Bit Options"
The media could not be loaded. This is a great and sturdy ratchet screwdriver. At less than £10, it's certainly value for money. The ratcheting mechanism punches way above its weight - competing with products ten times its price. It also comes with a convenient bit holder. The bits themselves are okay, nothing special in terms of quality, but not as bad as most other products in the same price range. Since the screwdriver takes standard 1/4" hex bits, you can always buy external bits. In the video, you can see me inserting a 25mm Bosch Impact Control Insert Bit.The locking mechanism is magnetic, and it works very well. The bits themselves weren't magnetized, or at least they weren't magnetized enough to attract screws. However, that's nothing that a magnetizer like the one from Klein Tools in my video can't solve.

It’s no LTT Screwdriver but it’s great value
Like others, I’d been pondering over whether to buy a very-well made screwdriver recently produced by a well-known tech YouTube channel but at nearly £100 once delivery and customs duty were factored in, it was something I couldn’t justify. So I looked at other brands and decided that, for my own needs, something fairly basic would probably do the job.Is the Amazon Basics screwdriver the best on the market? No. It’s shaft has a fair bit of wobble and the ratchet mechanism isn’t perfect. But at under £10 it’s an absolute steal. I own a decent collection of tools and I’ll happily take ones which do 90% as good a job at 10% of the price, all day long. The push-button bit storage in the handle is convenient, it’s nicely weighted and grippy, and the knurling on the shaft is excellent. This screwdriver will do most jobs with ease. It’s perhaps less-suited to small, intricate jobs although it’ll still do them just fine. The magnets aren’t the greatest but I haven’t lost a screw or a bit yet.So if, like me, you want a ratcheting screwdriver but can’t justify the expense of some of the branded products, I’d highly recommend giving this a go, especially if it’s something you’ll only use a few times per month or less. For the price, it’s probably the best value item in my toolbox.

Functional, But Slightly Overpriced
This screwdriver is well-made and functional. The 6-in-1 design is convenient, and the bits are easy to switch out. It’s a handy tool to have around for everyday tasks, and it feels sturdy enough for regular use. That said, it’s a bit on the pricey side for what it is. While it gets the job done, I feel there are similar options available at a lower cost.⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 – Works well, but could be cheaper.

Excellent quality
I find these Amazon basics products really good high quality. This is better quality than the Ikea one I had.It has easy interchangeable ends which are solidly held in place. It's easy to hold and use, good rubber handle giving a good comfortable grip. It's not heavy but it's got a good weight. This is my main screwdriver. Very useful.

Useful tool but the ratchet mechanism isn't great
I've used this almost daily since I got it and it's handy to have around, especially as it has all the bits contained inside. Have had trouble with the ratchet mechanism slipping though which kind of defeats the purpose.Pros:- handy tool with lots of different bits contained in the end- ratchet mechanism makes screwing easierCons:- ratchet mechanism tends to slip which means you have to keep resetting it mid use- very long neck on it so not good for tight spacesOverall it does a job for the price but I'd probably pay more next time for a more premium product.

Works very well with extra bits in the end of the handle.

Works well enough
A little cheap and cheerful and plasticy in the hand, but works well enough so a handy addition to the toolbox.
