These work as intended and it's nice to get caffeine without filling up with liquid sometimes. These are especially helpful on long car rides where you'd rather not make a million bathroom stops. The pills are tiny so they are easy to swallow. I prefer the 100mg (half a cup of coffee) so I avoid the jitters. If it's not enough, I take another.

I am deducting 1 star because I am sure they can make pills without products like Silica (at least it has no fake sugar). Otherwise 5 stars! I have a few things wrong with me, and am exceedingly tired all the time. I gave up on coffee, which was giving me serious heartburn, and decided to try these. Even though they say they have as much caffeine as one cup of coffee (somewhere), they are really like drinking a half caf cup of coffee, which I a whole lot better. I take one, forget I took it, and 20 minutes to ONE HOUR later, I suddenly notice that I am not as tired as I was, and have strength to do dishes or laundry -- which are piling up because of my non-stop fatigue. The affect lasts about two hours. I do have to say, a second dose after that is not nearly as effective, but that original 2 hours makes a big difference. There is no zoom up/crash down. There is only steady energy for two hours. If you are looking for some kind of Adderall-type effect, this is not it.

I know, I KNOW. You RUN on coffee. You can’t do without it. It flows through your veins. You could never give up coffee. No way, no how. You think caffeine pills are dangerous. (“I’m so excited! The risky fumbling as I aimed the boiling hot liquid in the dark from the pot to mug and taking that first sip that invariably scalded my lips. And as the years piled on, my stomach became less and less amenable to me pouring gallons of hot, dark acidic liquid down into it, I’d be doubled over in pain for a majority of the morning. BUT, I NEEDED caffeine! I know that you think you can’t live without this routine and your morning Joe. But I’m here to tell you it’s codswallop, people! CODSWALLOP! There’s a BETTER WAY! (I use a sippy cup in case I bump into it at night). You don’t NEED all the dog-and-pony show of the coffee (unless, you know, you really like it and don't mind the effort and money.) All you need is these sweet, sweet caffeine pills - a panacea! - to keep you energized. And for you mistaken “Saved by The Bell" fans, no. Caffeine pills are no more dangerous than the caffeine in your coffee. Sure, caffeine from either coffee or pills affects you biologically, and for some with medical conditions may affect you detrimentally, but the caffeine in pills is no more ‘dangerous’ or potent than coffee in the same dose. I don't get more jittery when taking these as compared to drinking coffee. I especially like this particular version, because you’re only getting a reasonable 100Mg of caffeine, as opposed to the 200-plus found in most other oblong caffeine pills. Fun fact for all you diabetics out there – taking pure caffeine (without any coffee, creamer, sugar) raises your blood sugar! Surprise!

Does what it’s supposed to, and I prefer the smaller, easy to swallow tabs. This way you can just take one if you want a smaller dose. I also appreciate that they don’t contain yellow dye for no good reason.
