It Works
Easy to use and it does exactly what it should do. After using it the first time, I asked myself how I lived without it. Simple and effective.

This kitchen tour is awesome
I really really like this coring tool for tomatoes. It works really well and is easy to use. It seems to be high-quality. I would highly recommend this for anybody who cans tomatoes, or just needs to core tomatoes for some reason. God bless you all and merry Christmas. Duane.

Saved my hands!
We had a bumper crop of tomatoes this season and I needed to get most of them prepared. This little gadget was a hand and time saver! Push the plunger, insert into tomato, release plunger, twist and pull. Easy peasy! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the cutter is a little flimsy and I will need to buy another one for next season. But for the price and the MANY tomatoes I processed, it was well worth it.

yeah, it works.
This is a remarkable little device that does what I purchased it to do, remove the stems from strawberries. Unfortunately, it works too well.First, I removed the stems from the strawberries at the breakfast table. All well and good. Then, I went into the fridge and removed the stems from the strawberries there. Excessive, my wife says.So I went to the local supermarket and removed the stems from several boxes of strawberries. The manager told me to stop. But he didn't say anything about the tomatoes, which I began to de-stem. The police office was much less friendly than I expected, but at least he didn't arrest me.When I got back home, I started planting tomatoes. When my yard was full I started planting tomatoes in the neighbor's yard. The police officer was even less friendly, but he was kindly compared to the warden. At least they let me remove the stems from the tomatoes in the prison kitchen, and with good behavior, I should be paroled in a couple of months. So if you buy one of these, be careful not to get too excited.

Broke after 3 uses
The media could not be loaded. The product works relatively well, though it could be a little bigger as some tomatoes that I use them on are quite large. Or possibly they can have two sizes. However, it just broke after 3:00 uses. The teeth or the metal part won't retract anymore which means it doesn't do anything to get the core out. I wish I could give it a higher rating because it really is useful on some of the tomatoes, but if it breaks after only three times it's just not worth it. I'll just keep needing to do things the old-fashioned way.

Works for both strawberries and tomatoes.
This is supposedly for tomatoes, but works really well for strawberries as well. Just need to be a bit careful with the sharo blades when cleaning it.

Requires strong thumb! Color is brownish not bright red.
Color of this product is more of a brown terracotta - not bright tomato red as shown online. Action of core removal button is stiff - requires strong thumb!
