Poor design, formed holes in stitching.
I bought the backpack to use as a lightweight carry-on (I was flying) for a recent 1-week trip to the beach. 4 days after receiving the back and 3 days into my trip, not even heavily using the backpack, a hole formed right above the zipper stitching in the middle pocket. It got worse as the week went on and was about 5 inches across by the time I left. I see that other people had similar problems, which indicates poor design. Regardless of the weight, a backpack with as many pockets and space as this one should be designed to withstand heavy contents and a bit of abuse. But the materials in this one can't seem to handle even moderate contents and use. What a disappointment, especially since when I was on my trip, I found a tougher backpack for sale in Walmart for a cheaper price.

It has a great design and is super light weight
When I first got this bag I would have rated it as a 5 but unfortunately the bag has ripped at the seams multiple times in less than 6 months with minimal use. It has a great design and is super light weight. I have tried getting multiple versions of this bag as the company said they changed the material or improved it but I have now gone through 3 of these bags and all of them have ripped in similar areas near the seam at the top. I will say the customer service is great but unfortunately the product does not stand up. It's too bad cause I really want to use this bag.

Happy with this back pack
Things I really like about this backpack: 1) Extremely lightweight (1.2 lbs !) and good product material - strong, rain proof ; I have some back trouble so every little weight I can take off is good for my back 2) This backpack will fit under the airline seat even when full - a great advantage so I can always carry it on board the plane with me (even smaller planes); Good way to keep your eye on your own stuff when you are in the plane. 3) It really can hold a lot of stuff including 2 lap tops ( one a smaller lap top) and I-Pad and couple of note books , cables (30 L). What I don't like as much - not that many compartments, so multiple small things will need to go into one pouch. However more material to make compartments will of course add weight to the back pack. I have had this back pack for 2 mos so far. I will see how long I will continue to use it.

Waterproof lining began to fray
I was surprised that the waterproof lining began to fray. It cost almost 60 dollars, but backpacks that I had brought for 15 dollars developed this problem after 5 years of use instead of 2 months in this case. This was a total surprise. Either this was a defect in this particular backpack or there was some problem in the manufacturing process. I don't really care, but I just want others to know this happened.

Great design, but poor stitching. Rips easily.
Great design, but cheap material. I use this as a commuter bag. In less than a year, the bag has ripped twice near the top gray zipper. I have patched it twice, but it continues to rip. I only carry water and lunch. It does not hold much with wearing on the material. Invest your money on another bag.

Poor quality product....beware
I purchased this product only a month ago and it has already fallen apart. The stitching that holds the honeycomb nylon material to the outer material has torn apart making the bag useless. I have not overloaded the bag with any excess weight or large stress. The intent of this bag was to be a baby bag. After the tear kept getting larger I used duct tape to seal it. I will be going back to my old bag. I have had better luck out of bags I get from trade shows / expos that from this poor quality product. I was a manufacturing engineer, and this would have been major defect / quality flaw.If your intent is to use this as a baby bag....keep the shopping bags from your local supermarket instead. The kicker is I tried to return the bag, and I am 2 days short from the return policy.

I have two of these. first one I used ...
I have two of these. first one I used as hiking daypack. It ripped within a month. To be fair, the company sent me a replacement pack for free and I thought maybe I could have been overloading it, though it ripped on top. I decided not to use the replacement for hiking and instead used it as an occasional overnight bag. Not much stuff in it. Carrying it from the car to hotel rooms. Considering it spends most of its life sitting on the closet floor it sure has a lot of tears in it. Jay You En Kay

... trip to Disney World to hold sunscreen and our good camera. Day 2 of this light load
Bought this bag for a trip to Disney World to hold sunscreen and our good camera. Day 2 of this light load, the bag ripped in 3 different places. Not a happy customer and will be seeing if we can return the poorly made bag....made for quite a hassle during a special trip!
