Great Product for Removing Chlorine From Your Aquarium
I was originally using Seachem Prime to treat my aquarium water and then reading some forums I discovered Safe and decided to do some research on this. It's essentially the same product as Prime just in dry powdered form and more concentrated so you save money in the long run. This product should last me years even with weekly water changes. I have a 30 gallon tank so whenever I do a water change I usually siphon out about 15% of my water. I then put the dose of Safe into my tank as my bucket isn't very large. If you are changing water in a larger tank, you can also treat each individual bucket as you want but I find it easier to just dose the entire tank and then start adding in the new water after making sure it is the same temperature as the water in my tank. This is especially true if you are using a siphon that hooks up to your sink or hose for quick water changes. I follow the instructions from Seachem's website: Directions for all other sizes (this is different if you buy the 50g or 100g sizes!) Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 1,250 L (300 gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 300 L (75 gallons) for ammonia. Since my tank is only 30 gallons I use (1/10) of that dose to treat the entire tank. That ends up being 1/40 of a teaspoon so I had to buy some smaller measuring spoons. I use 1/32 of a teaspoon and have seen no ill effects with using this slightly higher dose as you would be using more for ammonia anyways. I've been using Prime for years and now been using Safe for over a month and have had no issues with my fish and chlorine and they seem very happy and healthy. You can also double or triple this dose in an emergency if you and need to quickly detoxify nitrites and nitrates.

Great value, must buy if you're not using RODI water
Works well, lasts a very a long time, and it's a great value. Like other dechlorinators, it's sulfur based so it smells awful, especially so because it's the concentrated powder. BUT It's really good at what it does for much cheaper than any other product. It took me 2.5 years to get through one bottle.

Best aquarium products for multiple tanks!
Sneaky this is the best amazing products for people with multiple tank syndrome. Make water in mass and so much cheaper than prime. There’s no way I could afford prime for 15 tanks.

Best water conditioner on the market
This product helps keep my water clarity clean, treats the water so my fist stays healthy and safe, and the functionality of this product is easy to use. Just follow directions on back and you’re good to go.

Help me save money because you use less than liquid conditioner.
I love this concentrate powder. It helps bring down nitrates like it says and I save more on water changes. I used to use a lot of liquid water conditioner and it got expensive every time I did a water change. Not about the product, but beware my package was opened and some of it spilled inside.

Great value- a little hard to figure out dosing
I started out in the fishkeeping hobby using Stress Coat. For reasons of economy and effectiveness, I switched to Seachem's Prime, a much more concentrated product. Safe is the concentrated form of Prime. The jar I bought will treat up to 50,000 gallons of water. That might sound like a lot, but if you have multiple tanks like I do, you can go through it quicker than you think. Safe is easy to use and it seems to be very effective. The price may seem a bit high compared to a comparable size bottle of other water treatment, but when you look at the cost/gallon, there is no comparison, Prime wins hands down over any of the liquids I looked at and Safe is even more cost effective than Prime. The only negatives about using Safe versus Prime was trying to figure out the dosing and then finding a measure small enough to measure it. Prime came with pretty straight forward instructions. Safe's dosing is based on how much chlorine, chloramine and/or ammonia is in your water. I just treat for an "average" amount of chloramine and that seems to work out pretty well. Seachem's technical support is amazing. If you can't find the answer to your problem in the forums, just write to them and they are extremely responsive. I bought a large size of this product. For some reason, Seachem thinks if you buy the large size you don't need a dosing spoon and doesn't include one. However, I wrote to them and they sent a spoon to me, no charge. I treat for the full tank volume whenever I make a water change. I use one "measure" (the spoon they sent) per 20 gallons.

Better than Seachem Prime
If you like Seachem Prime, get this. It's much more concentrated and better. A very small amount goes a long way.

Stinks (literally) but works wonders
I've always used Seachem Prime which is a must have for anyone with an aquarium. This product just ousted Seachem Prime in my opinion. Why? Seachem Safe is crazy cost effective. Just a small bit goes a long way. This bottle will probably last me for the rest of my aquarium keeping life time. Of course not if you keep a dozen 120G tanks and change water every week but for any regular home tank, it would take decades to use this bottle. I wish it came in even smaller sizes given how little you need each time. I also wish it came with measuring spoons for 10/20/50 gallons. I hope Seachem reads this! This is what you should supply with Seachem Safe. Won't take a star off for this though as the value proposition is absolutely 5 stars. Not sure why Amazon asked me to rate "sheerness" and "thickness" though, sorry had to give it 1 star for that. Amazon, you need to have a "not applicable" option, really. Pro-tip: If you have small 5g/10g tanks, it's almost impossible to measure the right amount, all you need is literally a pinch so stick with Prime. If you do have small tanks, google "micro measuring spoons" and get those sets with 1/32 & 1/64 teaspoon sizes.

Ótimo produto.

As compared to Seachem Prime it takes a LOT LESS to do almost the same thing. Just a pinch for 200 litres.. maybe even less. Seachem is expensive but it gets rid of heavy metals also this one doesn't. Overall best VFM dechlorinator in the market one can say.

Always used prime and the stuff is great but seen this was a more concentrated version so it last sooooo much longer! I purchased a set of spice spoons to make the Mesurements accurate and easy peasy. I'm not going to take a star off as the product is really cheap for how long it lasts and does what it supposed to but my good god it f&%@£#g stinks lol.
