Secure your railing post
Worked great. Watched some YouTube videos on how to install and it is exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy and worth the money. I would buy it again.

Does just what it should
I don't write many reviews but I hope this one will help someone installing this in concrete. The bolt works great, the post is solid once tightened. I had a hard time gathering information to find for concrete installations so I'm going to explain how I did it:If you're installing in concrete, make sure your bit is an 1/8" bigger than the diameter of the bolt. Drill down as far as mentioned on the directions. Clean out all dust from the hole with a shop vac, brush, bolt, etc. Get the dust out completely, then I used the following epoxy:Sika Anchorfix-2, super strength anchoring adhesive, Two component anchor system for threaded bars in uncracked concrete, 10.1 fl. Oz https://a.co/d/2JaAc69Filled the hole up about halfway, then filled the threads on the bolt as well. Work quick, the stuff sets in 4 minutes. I waited a day before I put the post on a tightened it down. Hope this helps someone.

Twice as good
I used 2 zip opposing zip bolts on 1 newel post as there was some rocking (not totally flat floor) between the newel post and the floor. My only issue was that the zip bolts seemed to not tighten smoothly but stuck during tightening.

Works fantastic!!!
the bolts need to be attached to the framing under the flooring to secure the post tightly. Youll need to have 3 drill bits: 3/8" x 6" drilling depth into the floor framing, 5/8" x 6" drilling depth into the bottom of the post, and 1-1/2" bore bit about 3" long for the side of the post. With the bolt installed and the post tightened down, the post is very secure. Just be sure to mount the post over the floor framing or add additional framing for the bolt to be as strong and secure as possible.

Alignment, jamming
On 2 out of 4 I installed the cam jammed. Had to spend hours just to get it out of the post.Great idea and very strong. Unfortunately, In my opinion the cam Is junk. If it jams as mine did, the cheap metal socket strips. That starts the nightmare. Used a Dremel to grind it out. It took hours to do so.

Nice kit to mount your stair railing.
These are great. They hold my railing, along with some good glue, nice and tight. You have to be careful with measuring and drilling your holes, but they are worth the effort.
