Good pocket LED torch.
Overall I consider this torch to be good product: 1) it's light 2) it's small 3) utilizes 14500/AA rechargeable /AA disposable batteries 4) has four output levels 5) easy to use For me the only downside is illuminated switch when using 14500 batteries as it drains battery over time.

Quite literally brilliant!
This is a great little torch. It’s small, lightweight and all metal construction make it highly versatile. The diffuser that comes with it is excellent for providing diffuse lighting - when working in a confined space for example you can set the torch down with the cap on and it provides a nice even light to work in. We use it for looking at our marine aquarium at night on the dimmest setting and it gives a nice usable spread of light. Also being waterproof it doesn’t matter if occasionally it gets dipped when we are looking or working from above. The battery can run out quite quickly if you have it on a high setting but that’s understandable. The brightest setting is super bright. It’s a great all round torch and I’m thinking of getting another one!

Well worth the money
I like AA flashlights (or torches if you prefer) as you can run them most of the time on NiMH rechargeable AA batteries like eneloops, and benefit from a longer run time and a brighter output than non rechargeable alkaline , but you always know you can pick up alkaline AA's everywhere should you need too in an emergency or keep one or two alkalines as a back up. It makes these torches very easy to store and not use for a long time, like in a car glovebox. I like single AA flashlights specifically as they are small enough to have with you all the time, but bright enough to be properly useful when you need them. My favourite AA flashlight is the Thorfire TG06s, but you can't buy that anymore. I bought this Lumintop as its the closest I could find to a TG06s in terms of specifications. Upon using the Lumintop I can say it's slightly smaller and lighter than the TG06s, it isn't quite as bright, but it's plenty bright enough, and the battery does last longer than the TG06s, reflecting the slightly reduced output. On high (not turbo) with a single Nimh eneloop battery I got 2hours 20 mins out of this flashlight. On high with my TG06s I get 1 hour 40 mins. On medium rather than high you'll get many, many hours out of both flashlights. The tail mounted switch is very well protected on this Lumintop, you wont accidentally press it, but it's not got as nice a "click" as the TG06s. Works fine though. The light spread and colour temp is nice, virtually daylight I would say, and the spot focus is well judged, no halo ring around it and its a nice balance between reach and flood. Almost perfect in that regard for me. Doesn’t feel quite as well made as the TG06s but to be honest it seems well made enough. Time will tell, certainly well worth the money. If I could still buy a TG06s over this flashlight I would, as I simply love the TG06s, but I can’t, and even if I could, they are twice the price of this Lumintop. So this Lumintop is a definite “recommend” from me. You won’t be disappointed.

Replacement recieved after reporting "Porch Pirate" theft.
This was my order for a 2nd of these, I liked the 1st one so much. A handy pocket sized torch/flashlight that's plenty bright enough, works excellently with 14500 Li-Ion batteries. Good quality, with spare o-rings (which most others don't) and the luminous silicone diffuser cover converts a torch into a handy area light.

Small compact every day carry flashlight
Plus-small lightweight. Very bright and will take 3 types of battery, 14500, 1.2 aa rechargeable or 1.5 aa alkaline. Tail cap stand which illuminates when off and will eventually drain the battery, however, if you instead use the twist on the other end, it won’t illuminate and drain the power. Negative-no way of telling when the batterie’s low. Pocket clip is adequate but don’t rely on it. Mine fell out of my jeans pockets but fortunately, someone gave it back to me

Great little torch
This is a great little torch at a great price. I deducted one star not because of any fault with the torch, rather the companies marketing strategy and lack of help. They sell this torch as stand alone and as a kit. It looked to me that the only difference was that the kit came with a spare tail cap that was magnetic. This was of no interest to me. I collect torches and I have many with that feature. What attracted me was the standard tail cap was illuminated. None of my other torches have that. So I got the stand alone torch which was cheeper than the kit. My disappointment when it arrived without the 14500 battery was immense. To make matters worst the tail cap did not illuminate. I contacted the supplier but received no assistance. I've found it difficult to get 14500 batteries in the UK. Eventually I managed, at some cost. It would have been cheaper to have bought the kit. When I fitted the more powerful battery the tail cap illuminated. The fact that this feature requires the 14500 battery was not mentioned in the product description. Other torch manufactures such as Sofirn do a much better job.

Nice little torch
Bought as a standby torch for power outages. Versatile - can use rechargeable or alkaline AA battery or NiMh type. I'm using it with a Duracell Plus AA battery for when my rechargeable torch runs out of juice. Light output more than enough for around the house and the supplied diffuser and flat base turns it into a useful little lantern. Not sure how battery life will live up to claims but time will tell. Overall: nice little pocket torch and would buy again.
