Just buy it
Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? DEFINITELY. I was a bit reluctant to buy this based on the price, but I'm so glad I did. I've never installed cabinet handles before, but I was able to successfully and flawlessly install 54 handles, and the job looks like it was done by a pro. When I first started using it, I was quadruple checking and measuring everything, but once I got the hang of it, I got more confident in using and trusting it. I'm so glad I didn't opt for one of the cheaper tools that I was considering. This tool is high quality, very precise, and worth every penny. I'm also glad I bought the "pro" version because I definitely needed the extension. There are a number of good YouTube videos that demonstrate how to use it correctly.

Fine Tool, Get the Expanded Kit.
DIY'er, about 60 handles in the new house. I've used other jigs in previous little projects, this one works much better than those imo.First, the amount of thinking put into the design of this tool makes it worth its price. Very nice build, easy to read, well-thought out. Functionally, couldn't be easier to use once set up. The kit comes in a cheap box but works well. The tool does take some practice and testing. The main stop on mine was not true when tightened down. The tightening screw on this slide is off from center, which puts a twist when tightened. There are two set screws which need to be adjusted before going crazy drilling holes. I set a small speed square against the edges and got it pretty darn close. I would check squareness of tool after every few holes, and of course after adjusting for the next handle or door size.My handles were a bunch of different sizes for each different door. I set up the tool for size #1, marked each drawer/door to drill, then just drilled all that size. Then, set up the tool for size #2, do all the doors of that size. Once set, drilling holes is super quick. My first time using the tool I did 21 (4 different sizes, from 3" to 12") handles in 3 hours. My next dozen doors (next day) took about 30 minutes. If you have any handle greater than 7" on a cabinet door, or 11" on drawer, you will need the extended rulers. If you are gonna get this tool then you are likely not one to mess around. Get the expanded kit from the get go and don't get caught shorthanded. The expansion kit is more expensive later.I was able to do a 12" handle for a drawer front by offsetting the center mark then flipping the tool for each hole. But for handles on the doors I had to get the extensions.Overall a great tool for my collection, and worth more than its selling price for sure.(Handles in picture are also from Amazon, Koofizo brand, awesome handles).

Just buy it…it’s totally worth it.
This jig is awesome! It is very high quality and very precise. The case is solid and fits the tool perfectly. The instructions are easy to follow and set up is very easy.It is expensive. No getting around that! But I think it’s totally worth it. Time is money and this jig will save you a lot of time if you are building cabinets and drawers on a fairly regular basis. Even for a weekend woodworker like me…I’m able to really use my limited time in the shop more efficiently because of this jig.Personally, I think the ‘Pro’ version is an absolute must. If you are doing multiple drawers that are the same size, it’s a time-saver.

Worth the $$$ if you plan on ever using it
This is my 3rd cabinet hardware jig that I have purchased and I wish I wouldve just bit the bullet and bought this one first. I was trying not to spend the money, as this set is much more expensive than all of the others, but after buying the other cheaper ones that are definitely not made in the USA it was a complete waste of my time. Right off the bat, this TPT jig is very solid and you can feel that it is just well built. All of the finger screws actually tighten and keep in place when using, you don't have to worry about the settings moving around on you. The measurements on the tool are very accurate which is a huge help. I install cabinets for a living and have to say that this jig is hands down the best one out there.... Don't waste your time with the others, TPT is well worth the extra money for a high quality reliable jig and even comes with a nice hard plastic case.

Measure twice or thrice before drilling.
Totally worth the price. Very accurate and easy learning curve to use. It was less expensive than one replacement door for mistake of drilling doors without it. I should have bought it BEFORE drilling my new, expensive kitchen doors. Lesson Learned (again).
