To provide my dash cam constant power, i purchased this "add a fuse", wiring to my fuse box without affecting other fuses. It functions like a parallel circuit. The only thing I don't like is it's a little too tight when i insert the fuse.

Good and low cost option for adding a circuit for a dash cam or whatever else you need to wire in. Fuses fit in the sockets without problem and the black sockets didn't interfere with the fuse box in the driver foot well of our 2016 CRV.

Product works, blade seating is a bit tight and may need to be bent a bit to fit fuses in.

I understand local markets differ and I am all for supporting local businesses. These fuse taps are $7.99 each at my three local stores. So these were a great bargain. They seem sturdy and fit the mini low profile in my 2015 tacoma perfectly. I have backlighting on mu switches and flash light charger now with protection without clipping any wires. Clean and neat.

Works like a charm for my dashcam for now. No soldering needed, but it does need to be crimped. I happened to have a leatherman on hand and just used that to cinch the wires shut.

I had inserted one of the fuses into one of the slots to see how they fit. When I pulled it out, it broke off on one of the pins. The fuse tap itself though seems to be ok. The part where you crimp your wire onto is hard. I was using a small pair of pliers and had difficulty crimping it.

As others have stated in their reviews, these mini fuse taps will NOT fit in the fuse socket unless they are filed to make them thinner. A low profile fuse is approximately 3.53mm thick. The thickness of these mini fuse taps averages 4.13mm - a full 0.5mm too thick to fit in the fuse socket. Still, a good price considering the minimum effort it takes to file away the excess material. Tip: during filing, use a caliper to frequently measure your progress. This will reduce the chance of removing too much material.

I bought similar add-a-circuit from another Amazon seller but they didn't fit. These fit perfectly. Would buy again.

Bought these as out of desperation, as nowhere neraby me has them in this size. The plastic mold and fuses are quite poor quality. As other reviews mention, i was forced to shave the plastic down in order to fit into the fuse box, and the fuse slots themselves are very tight, tight enough to rip the included fuses apart. Overall, while they do work, i would suggest potential buyers search their local hardware stores first, as they hopefully won't have this problem.
