Solid build looks good
I have had one power blip since installing the USP. Work great. The unit is well built and the display has the information on it that I need. Very simple to use and replacing the batteries seem simple. I think I made the right choice. Also, I ended up contacting their service people by phone. It was a non-technical problem having to do with their account setup rejecting my PW without telling me why. The point is I was able to get to someone on their tech staff very quickly. That is a good sign if there is a problem I can actually speak to someone and get help.

Honor their Word
Tripplite is awesome. I have been twice hit by lightning (Florida) and both times they have not only replaced all their devices and/or upgraded them promptly and without argument, but also sent me checks to cover all devices plugged in as per their promised insurance meaning, to date, I have been given far more than they cost. For this reason, I have everything in the house connected to their devices. Our power fluctuates, these devices handle that issue and serve as great backups when needed. The woman I worked with there Yvonne was there for the first strike, gave me her personal contact number and helped me with the second strike as well. If you are having issues, give their support a try - somewhere there hopefully are still the same great values that helped me.

You don’t need one of these... until you do. Then you’re glad you have one.
If you have a nice PC then this is something I highly recommend. A UPS that can handle the load of running your pc and monitor on battery isn’t something you think you need until you need it. I have my pc, main monitor, and router/ modem plugged in. Middle of a game and the power goes out for a couple seconds in my house (some windy weather / it happens every once and a while). Everthything I was using stayed on. What a revelation. Also! This unit switches from battery BACK to normal power once the power comes back on. That’s essential because if you have to get down under your desk and hold a button to get it back on normal mode then it’s kinda pointless.TLDR: Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Worked wonderfully during brief power outage. Pc and internet stayed on.(Update): Everything I said before has been 100% backed up multiple times now. This thing is ROCK solid, and will protect against power outages like a freaking CHAMP. It's easily able to handle my entire PC setup with 2 monitors, as well as the modem and router. I don't lose any connection, or have any interruptions even with 5 minute long power outages. What a fantastic investment for anyone who has nice computers that they want to protect.

Great specs -- too bad it doesn't help when the power goes out
50 lbs of false security. I've moved it from one computer to another hoping by limiting the load I can get it to be at least a little useful, but no dice. When the power goes out it dumps the load in just seconds. Says 100% battery, 10% of rated load, power goes out, shuts down (not the orderly kind). Press button on front & display flashes for a brief moment then shuts down again. Power comes back on, immediately says battery is at 100%. It will carry through blinks in power, but anytime power is gone for more than a half-second or so I find myself waiting hours for the RAID disk arrays it's supposedly protecting to rebuild. PowerAlert Office software configuration is a bit of a mess, with lots of ambiguously labeled settings.

Dependable Power Backup with Comprehensive Features
The Tripp Lite OMNI1500LCDT is a dependable UPS with 10 outlets and automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to protect devices during power fluctuations. The LCD display provides clear updates on power conditions, and the 3-year warranty with $250,000 insurance adds peace of mind. While slightly bulky, it’s a great choice for safeguarding electronics.

Working fine for five years now (replaced batteries at 3 year mark)
Batteries died pretty much exactly at the three year mark (expected lifetime is 3-5 years, I believe). I was worried that maybe the unit itself died, but once I replaced the batteries it worked perfectly fine, and has been going for two more years now.

Very Good
Perfect. After suffering through 4-5 CyberPower units, which are pure, unreliable garbage, this unit is terrific! It power conditions and maintains power even if the voltage dips.

Excellent buy
I saw this UPS used at my company and has lasted for more than 4 years and this was used as an extra backup for a CCTV server and network appliances. So, I bought it to replace a failed APC UPS and so far I have had about 2 brown outs and 1 trip on my my breaker box. It has held up like a champ and I didn't have to do the Usain Bolt dash to the breaker box trying to save my servers from cutting out and damaging my hard drives. I am looking to purchase another one. I wish it was possible to dim the LCD display but it is a great buy overall.
