Bought 8 of these lights they looked amazing at first in the summer last year 3 went off before 3weeks was over thought it may have been due to weather change but left them out anyway and no they still do not work even now with the sun out all day. I opened them all up to find the on/off metal switches have all rusted up so they are now totally useless. So 7 months on a total waste of 55.00 dont buy this product.

When torches on they are lovely bought 4 and one already doesn't work. Torches look lovely when on but only stay on for approx 2hrs and that's with a full days sun charge. Have tried turning them off and leaving them to charge for 5 days as recommended still only stayed on for a couple hours

Love these lights , they look expensive and warm - the flicker effect is gorgeous Initially I so pleased with them I bought a second set - but unfortunately after a couple of weeks 2 X lights out of 8 are no longer working, it may be the batteries but I think water has got inside them as well. It's a pity because if they had lasted the summer I'd have given them 5 X stars

What I like about these is that they are really energy efficient and weatherproof. I bought some last year and they survived the winter very well, even the snow and storms. There was no corrosion and they still work fine. Compare that with the aluminum ones I also bought that leaked and the water got in corroding the battery connections. So I replaced those metal ones with more of these resin ones and I'm happy with them. Being an amber light they last longer at dusk too than the white light aluminum ones. They are still going into the early hours of the morning so I can only assume amber light LED's drain the batteries at a much slower rate. Ok they aren't as bright as the white lights but that's fine as I use them to mark where the steps leading up to the lawn are and the path down to the bins and they are perfectly fine for that. Also being of a lower intensity they are much less intense than white light and probably more nature friendly as they don't upset the wildlife or attract moths. That they flicker too like a candle makes them aesthetically pleasing.

I purchased these approximately a month ago 24 July 2020 they looked wonderful in the evening after full day of sun or just day light even on a gloomy day they flickered in the evenings. They come in box of 4 the return date was 24 August but on 23rd August no problems or issues on the evening of 24 August we noticed 1 stopped working absolutely gutted but thought oh well its passed the return date we have another 3 left they look so pretty however, each evening passed this week 1 by 1 they stopped working each night 1 stopped working Last night Friday 28 August 2020 all 4 had stopped working not even a light on. i wouldn't of minded if they stopped flickering but no lights work now. If you have event as a 1 off want something pretty in garden go for it buy them not bad price or for approximately 1 month get them dont expect anything else after that they do not work. I thought perhaps we just got unlucky got a faulty set but I wish I went through the reviews properly before purchasing. Would give the rating 5 stars on everything if they still worked!!!! Never mind still had pretty lights albeit for approximately one month!!!!

Have only good things to say about these lights. All 4 came neatly packed in individual boxes. Unpacked and put them in the garden, by evening (after dark) they were glowing and flickering like real flames. Remember to open the top and switch on the little switch for it to work. One of the torches wasn't working, emailed the seller and within 10 days a new replacement was shipped. Very impressive.

These were well packaged & easy to assemble. They lit up the first night I put them out in my garden despite only having a couple of hours in the sun to charge. The lights looked very pretty & flickery & had a nice warm feel to them. They were it for a good few hours before they dimmed & I am sure they will last even longer after a full charge. Very pleased as these were also a good price.
