Vont VNT-SF01 Flagpole Hardware, White

This thing works excellent. I put it on top of my Harbor Freight flag pole. I had to file down the screw that holds the ball on top of the pole so it fits in the center hole of the light. Easy thing to do, I just put the screw in my drill and used a file while it was spinning. It was strange when I first took the light out of the box, I figured it already has some charge, but it did not turn on when I hit the switch. When I turned it over to check the batteries it turned on, but when I flipped it back over it would go back out. I thought that maybe something was loose, so I took the thing apart and just plain could not figure the thing out. I would put it all back together and it would do the same stinking thing… I overthought the light way to much and I read a review that it has a sensor that turns off the light during the daylight. Every time I tuned it over I was covering the sensor in my lap and the light would turn on… Totally operator error, big dummy! Anyway the light works great and is bright as heck, with a good charge during the day the light stays right all night long! This is worth the money and a fantastic light!

We have had our light and flagpole up for about a month, and it works just fine in lighting the flag at night. I did notice shortly after putting it up, after a week of no sunshine and dark dreary days, the light was barely lit by dawn, but none of my other solar lights lasted through the night either. It fit the pole nicely, was easy to install, and just had to remove the plastic strips on the panels and turn it on. There should be some instructions included stating there is a button on the bottom of the light that turns it on, just like there is on every solar light I've ever owned. From some of the comments and bad reviews about the light not working when put up, evidently, not everyone knows that. The batteries, although not fully charged when we got it, charged enough from the time we put it up in the afternoon to keep the light lit all the first night. Very nice little light, and glad we purchased it. I would, and have recommended it.

I purchased this light for a telescoping flag pole I use on my travel trailer. The light is brighter than I expected and has performed flawlessly. Upon receipt of the solar light, I placed it in direct sunlight to ensure the batteries were fully charged. Installation was simple and the light has held up well. I would recommend this light for your flag pole.

I received this item just yesterday. I noticed that some of the other reviews have pointed out that the bolt on the ball may not be long enough to accommodate the light. When installing mine I notice that my bolt was to short also but I also notice that there was a nut at the top of the bolt and above that another inch or two above the nut that would give the light plenty of space to fit the bolt. so I took the nut off put on the light and then put the bolt. back on and attached the whole thing back to the pole by screwing the base of the bolt back to the pole . It worked great. This does not mean that all bolts work this way. Also before putting the light on the pole I first took it to a dark room to see if it would light up , it did not so I pushed the off/ on button and it lite up immediately all lights. this means that it is ship in the off position, but important to check so you do not have to take the pole back down if it does not come on at night. Then it was just a mater of time waiting for it to get dark enough to se if it still works. It did light up the flag enough to be effective to comply with night time flag recommendation. As it gets darker the more of the flag you can see. This product does hold up over time. It is a little dimmer than I would like but for the money and the fact hat you do not need to run wires it works well.

This poll light was just great. I've seen many, but this was super to set up. The bright range and the very long lighting time was the whole night. Only thing I did to even make it's sturdiness was I put the sleeve the poll into a coffee can with quick cement and planted it as they directed in the directed. This took away a little of the top sway that the light picks up in wind. The light is like a small fin on top of the poll. But it looks great. I showed friends and they are ordering it.

Had to do a “little engineering” to make it fit my oversized flagpole but really happy with it.

The Vont Flag Pole Light is attractive in appearance and does provide adequate light for my flag (on a 25' pole). It was easy to install (except I didn't initially realize there was an on/off switch).I purchased this solar light late June 2022. It died in late August 2023. It is now only 15 months later and I need a new light. This may be a fluke, but I am quite disappointed with the overall life of the product.For those interested in my testing and analysis of the unit:I took the unit off the pole and thoroughly cleaned the solar panels and lights. No Luck.The original batteries were completely dead, but charged in my desktop charger.I replaced the batteries anyhow. Still no luck.Since the unit was initially turned on and has worked, I can assume it is not the switch.Having new, fully charged, rechargeable batteries installed, would seem to rule out the dusk/dawn sensor.The batteries not charging coupled with the light not coming on even with new batteries seems to rule out the solar panels themselves.This leaves only the internal wiring (not likely) and the internal electronics.I hope you have found this evaluation and analysis helpful.
