Silicone Braided Challah Pan - 4 Small Challahs is perfect for me. I use it to make small gluten free challahs. Since gluten free dough is thinner than regular dough, it's much harder to braid. But I still want the braid shape. So instead of spending hours upon hours trying to braid it, I just use these pans. They're so simple! Just pour the dough in and you'll have beautifully braided challahs, without the work. Of course, the challahs aren't actually braided - they only look like they're braided. You can also use this pan for regular dough if you just don't want to braid it. The challahs that you get when you use this pan look perfectly braided and professional.I recommend this challah pan.

Nice large size, very sturdy and appear well made. I’m very excited to use these; they will be great for kids. I’m still going to braid my challah loaves, but these are really convenient for everyday use. Great for Rosh Hashanah!

I love that I can now put my challah dough in this and have perfect challettes. In my ovens, it only takes 25 minutes for the in-mold baking before turning them out onto the pan for the egg wash and final baking. And that is only 15 minutes in my ovens. And in my ovens, it is at 350. I have small ovens, as my home bakery is in my apartment.

My first time making challah was a huge success. I sprayed with non-stick flour spray, filled 2/3 of the way, let rise, then baked for 30 minutes. Turned challahs braid side up, brushed with egg wash, and baked another 10 minutes. They turned a PERFECT golden brown and taste absolutely delicious. True, the “bottoms” don’t bake flat, but I think they look adorable as little challah balls!

I had previously purchased the larger challah mold and I use it with my grain free challah recipes (as it is more a batter than a dough and you can't really braid it like regular challah. The molds are wonderful, allowing the appearance of challah and they are easy to clean. I only wish they had a little bit of a stiffer element in the perimeter but when full I place the molds on a baking tray and then into the oven. WIth regular bread dough, that would probably be less of a consideration.Would recommend!

For the gluten-free kosher baker, these challah rolls are a blessing (hah!) No matter how batter-y your dough, they come out perfectly in this bread loaf which makes four beautiful knots, as long as you grease the pan. Personally, my wife loves when I make a Sephardic sweet roll from her childhood for Shabbat, but they're so easy to devour. They certainly look beautiful and take the knot shape very well. For best baking results, put the silicone form on a pan that's easy to take in and out of the oven -- they do wobble quite a bit in the oven. Completely satisfied with these -- I've had it for years and put it through its paces and the bread always turns out just right.
