Nexus 6P Case, Verus [High Pro Shield][Shine Gold] - [Military Grade Protection][Slim Fit] For Huawei Nexus 6P

I first bought this case for my Nexus 6P due to the slim design, look, and of course the reviews. After a few months of usage, I went to take it off* to clean my phone, and the outer plastic ring snapped on me. It had already taken it's share of beatings, but it snapping wasn't directly due to a drop. With that in mind I reached out to the support team and inquired about a replacement part under their warranty.The support representative was very friendly and clear about the process, and also set some very understandable expectations that it will only get replaced based on further review of the pictures sent in. After reviewing the pictures I sent in (and I'm guessing seeing that it was a clean break with no noticeable damage from dropping), they decided to replace the entire case! (I would have been happy with a replacement ring, but they didn't supply those separately.) I was so satisfied with their customer service that I bought another case for my wife's phone.We both love that the slim, yet solid design doesn't make our phones feel like bricks. And it's also very reasonably priced... We're on Google Fi and have a very decent replacement policy with them, so it definitely didn't make any sense to buy a case that was upwards of $50 when it costs less than double that to replace the phone completely. It's slim, solid, and the customer service I received earns this product and company my highest rating of 5 stars. Easy decision.*Piece of advice: It's solid, but unless you're a bit OCD and need your phone cleaned every so often, I wouldn't recommend removing the case frequently. :)

I really wanted to like this case more.First the good:- It is very well laid out. All the cut-outs and windows are spot-on. Someone took their time and properly designed this case to work, and to work right. The finger print cut-out is just the right size to cradle your finger and center it on the sensor. The three hard buttons work well, no loss of function, and the charge port opening is perfectly sized. My charge cable fits perfectly, as do the Anker micro-USB adapters I purchased.- The texturing of the black plastic on the very large back is a nice touch. It gives it the appearance of brushed metal and adds some tactility to the case.- Fits perfectly with the Mr. Shield glass screen protector.Now the not-so-good:- It's a little plain with the silver bezel. The silver isn't bright, but really more of a satin, bronze-ish, dark grey. It blends right in with the huge expanse of black. If you do buy this case, do yourself a favor and get the red or blue.And the deal-killer:- The separate bezel has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is a grooved slot. On the rounded corners on the bottom of the phone the edges of that grooved slot stand proud of the bezel. And they're sharp. Sharp enough that one day's use has left the palm of my hand tender. The rounded corner sits right on my palm at the base of my thumb when I hold the phone, and it digs, and rubs, and digs. Not pleasant at ALL.So, in summary:- Mostly well-executed design; everything works as it should, good cable clearance.- Not ugly, but not pretty either. If you're going to get it, get a bright colored bezel. Otherwise it's just a huge black brick.- It has teeth. It's going to dig into your palm and leave it raw and tender.

I bought this case and it was one of the batch that charging port was not right size. However I don't understand some of you one star rating as if the case besides that problem is not exemplary. What if your teachers graded you like you're rating them. You did well on test with detailed exempt but on one question for fairness sake is 20 points and you got it wrong by a fraction. Will your teacher give you a 20% or a 80. SMH. Some of you didn't even reach out to them if you did you would have seen a very responsive and responsible customer support team. They are sending me a corrected version as soon as they get it while I get to keep the original. Some of you should take your ridiculous grading method and apply it to where it matters ... Your politicians. Anyway back to case the fine lines they drew on back makes gripabilty so much easier while for lack of verbiage retaining a very premium feel. *10 points for abusing word premium alond with phone reviewers. Seriously this case could pass as one built by Spigen in terms of quality, design, and aesthetics. I was skeptical at first buying from them since I only use Spigen cases but they have now been added to my list of go to phone case manufacturer. It will all boil down to who has best design. So far in my opinion the crushed Spigen.

Just got the case, definitely does not block the laser auto focus. Case looks and feels great and is nice and thin. Will update once I receive the phone and can put it in the case but so far definitely a very sharp case!UPDATE:The charger cable that is included with the 6P gets hung up on the outer bumper part of this case. So far it sticks every time I try to unplug and also makes it difficult to push the charging cable in. Seeing it this improves at all over the next few days as I start to use the phone since I just got it but more than likely I will be returning this case. Beware!UPDATE 2:I still have been waiting for word from Verus about the replacement being shipped and every time I've asked them they give me no definite date and most recently told me the shipments for replacements have been delayed. At this point I have submitted to get a refund as there are other good cases out there that I rather purchase and will happily return this one. Sadly due to the flawed design the bumper shell of the case had a large piece break off one day when I was removing the charger.I'll never buy another Verus product again. The quality was decent outside of the design flaw but their support is horrendous.

Sadly I can't recommend this case. It's lovely looking and fits nicely but it was sitting in my front loose pocket and I pulled it out to use it, the red strip around the side had cracked open making it useless. In the bin, I can't be bothered with the rigmarole of returning it. Only had it about 4 weeks.

very good and simple design.Only protects the back and sides of the phone, but the screen is recessed about 1mm to when you put it face down the screen does not touch the surface.A very snug fit. Easy enough, but you have to press around the edges rather firmly.Once on the phone it looks superb.When fitted, it really increases the size of the phone minimally.

It's a good case. Was a bit dissapointed that the red bit wasn't actually metal but white plastic spray painted and now with moderate use it's showing wear, but it's protected the phone from damage and that's all I wanted it for anyway. I like the feel of the back.Couple it with a tempered glass screen protector and you'd probably be good against most light to moderate damage.One minor issue is that because it's so thick, larger headphone or output jacks sometimes don't fit. I widened the hole in the end because I got fed up of buying and returning wires.

My case broke 2 days after the 30 warranty expired. I just pulled it out of my pocket and bumper had snapped. Very upset and can not recommended this case. The fingerprint scanner is also hard to access because of the raise in height and the case is impossible to take off by hand without feeling like your phone is going to snap. 2/5

Great case fits the phone perfectly and doesn't add too much bulk.The back is texturedand can sometimes be slightly slippery but it doesn't take long getting used to.I have dropped my phone a few times with this case and the case has successfully protected this phone without a problem.100% recommend this case!
