Just get them. They’re my favorite pair of pliers. And just like you, I’ve used a lot of pliers.

These players work really good with the economic handle and it has a lockout feature to keep them closed definitely a top quality German made tool

Is life changing. Highly recommend if you’re twisting wires all day, up to a few #10s and have arthritis.

Absolutely in dispensable. Who ever redesigned the pistol grip was deferentially a working person. Unbelievable. How such a small redesign can give you so many more uses. The torque from the redesigned "pistol grip" is amazing. Very heavy duty. This tool is not light in material at all.

The pliers do not close completely and the cutting surface also does not matter correctly. No idea how these passed inspection. I contacted the company and 2 weeks later received no response. Will edit if that changes.

I love these goofy german linesman pliers. The are great for removing knock outs and getting in weird spots. Now my strait ones hardly ever get used.

I got this for some specific tasks where I was working in a space that was really tight for where some fasteners needed crimping and others needed a minor twist, etc. The angle may seem like a small thing, but when up against some knuckle busting angles of 2x4s to get to a tight spot, it's really helpful to have something like this. I haven't tried it for other typical plier tasks yet, but as another reviewer pointed out, the pistol style grip is a whole different experience. Depending on what your'e doing, it may be a lot easier on the wrist to use these. The only negative I can see is that for some things, it may be a straighter pull if you're whole arm is extended. In any case, the tool itself is high quality. This is my second NWS product and both seem fairly high end/tough.
