Slow, messy and it works for what it is.
Here's a before and after of my pontoon boat. Had show the opposite side but it's the same. I'm using Quikrete 50 lb. Commercial Grade Fine Sand from Home Depot, with my 8hp, 4000psi, 4gpm pressure washer and water supply volume of 10 gpm.The cleaned section used roughly 25lbs of sand, so it will take some timeand a lot of sand to finish this project.Slow process, will try some alum brite to see what does a better job. Sand will be everywhere so expect it. I will gather up all the used sand and level my lawn with it. A 2fer.😉 Going to try some medium slag media on my old rusty truck. Will update when I try that. Not bad for something I never done before. Read and watch video's, I'd say some key points are to get the right blasting media, dry media, sift sand media and having a high pressure/volume washer would give you the best chance to succeed. There is a learning curve. It clogged up once during my first 50lbs. Would be helpful if a second person could manage the pickup tube and keep it supplied with media.

Works very well with play sand once it's screened.
I first time I used this, I used bagged play sand from Lowe's and it clogged, causing water to be pushed into the tube and a big ol mess. I bought a $3 screen strainer and sifted the sand over a bucket, which only took 3-4 minutes. Your sand must be dry. Then it worked flawlessly. I was blasting a truck rack (removed from my truck) and it took the paint down to metal and removed the rust with no problem at all. I used a wire wheel on a grinder for the larger flat areas and the blaster for inside corners and bends where the grinder wouldn't fit. It does go through quite a bit of sand and makes a huge mess but I did in in the yard so no big deal. $5 bag of sand vs $30 box of blasting media. Well worth the price.

Works well if you follow the recommendations below
The product does not come with any instructions. After a great deal of experimenting with the product here are some basic tips to get it to work, and it works pretty well.1. Make sure the sand is very dry, I spread mine out on a tarp in the hot sun and let its dry to make sure that it flows properly.2. Recommend that you screen the sand to remove any Pebbles or larger rocks. You will find that if these rocks or Pebbles get clogged in the nozzle water can backflow into the sand feed tube at which point you will have to disconnect clean out and dry.3. I found lasting in a circular pattern seem to provide the best results. When using the Blaster it is essential that you have sand that flows easily much like that in an hourglass. I use a fine place and that I purchased at Home Depot, and dried and screened as above. I was able to successfully sandblast a concrete sidewalk and Patio we're moving all the stain.

Did not work for me.
I attached this to a gas powered Simpson pressure washer (PS60843), a 4400 PSI/4 GPM beast. My sand was play sand, purchased at the orange box store. The sand was not completely dry out of the bag. I spread it out in the sun, on a tarp in my driveway for a few hours to dry it, raking it every so often. Then I screened it. Yes, I actually did all this as I don’t mind spending time to get a good result. Sadly, this did not work for me AT ALL. I read the reviews and have no doubt that these people had great results, but it did not work for me. I tried swapping out the other tips to no avail. I pulled the intake tube out of the bucker of sand while I had one of my kids activate the pressure washer wand. There was no vacuum at the end of the intake. I’m confused as to why this didn’t work as the principle is pretty straightforward, and my equipment is at the top end of the consumer grade pressure washers. I probably just was unlucky enough to get a lemon?

Constantly clogs for me.
The media could not be loaded. ✅ It does come with everything you need.✅ It even came with safety glasses.✅ It appears to be well made and quality parts.✅ It came with extra nozzles and replacements for wear components.🚫 The only thing this did for me was make a huge mess everywhere.🚫It failed to consistently suck sand thru the tube.It required 2 people to even attempt to use it.1 to constantly stir sand and keep tube unclogged.1 to use the pressure sprayer.🚫 It didn’t come with many instructions.I don’t know if it just needs a more powerful pressure sprayer a smaller grain of sand or what.I will openly admit it may be my fault. There may be something I just don’t know about how to use it, back to lack of good instructions. If I run into a chance to use it again and have a different experience I’ll update the review with the correct info and how to make it work right.BOTTOM LINE: I would return it if I could.I packaged it back up to send back and realized my return window had closed.I had waited too long before attempting to use it. That is 100% on me.If you’re thinking about it, I didn’t give it a hard pass. Go ahead and get it and try it. Just do it quickly so you can rerun it if you have the same experience as me.

Worked better than expected.
I had purchased a sand blasting kit from the big box store, and it was very time-consuming and waisted the blasting material. This was getting costly. I saw this on Amazon and for the price I was why not let's try it. I hooked this up to my pressure washer that puts out 3000 psi. The placing of the siphon hose in fine sand that was bought at the big box home repair center. Turned it on and as I wasn't expecting much, this setup blasted grease and paint with speed and ease. You do have to watch your blasting item doesn't go flying off. Also, glad they included the protective glasses. Mine were all scratched up. In all was very impressed on this kit over the old kit. What about the sand that was used, well swept it up and used it to fill in low spots in the yard. Now I actually have grass growing back in that area.

Works as advertised did the entire under portion of my Jeep
So this thing worked as advertised. I would however, recommend shortening the hose that goes down into the sand, so it will clog less. But it works beautifully.
