Dimitri, aka Mitou (Costel Cascaval) raises pigs for a living, but he's due to begin two years of military service the next day. Clad in hot pants, waitress Elena, aka Norica (Dorina Chiriac) matches Mitou in knocking back shots of vodka. Although Norica is engaged to marry Gili, owner of the rundown roadside sausage stand where she works, she accompanies Mitou to his spare apartment.
