Sturdy, functional product
I bought this stepper for my 81 year old father to use as an exercise tool to strengthen his ankles and calves. He and his wife started using it right away. It was the perfect height for their skill level and needs. It comes with 2 risers for each side for a total of 4.The things they loved:-sturdy construction-non slip platform-wide surface area-non-slip base-lightweight-adjustabilityThe only drawback is that the bases don't stay together when being moved from place to place. Still 5 star worthy as the construction and ease of use and safety is the most important.

Great for physical therapy at home
I just started virtual physical therapy for my ankle and one of my exercises utilized a step. I saw multiple, more expensive options available but thought I'd give this a try. So far so good. It is sturdy and sufficient for my weight (200 pounds). Some of the reviewers expressed concern about the step flexing. I don't feel unstable, I think the flex (using 2 risers) is an appropriate level of give for higher intensity moves. At this point I am using a single step, but I appreciate the option to add height as I get stronger.I had wondered about the size, the dimensions are smaller than some of the steps on the market, but this size is perfect for step exercises (not for utilizing as a bench to lie on). It is great for my size 10 feet, and I wouldn't want to go larger. It is big enough for my needs but compact enough to move around and store easily when not in use.

Pay Attention to the Size!!!
Like the title says. I didn't unfortunately. I was trying to recreate the lifting experience in Les Mills classes and Orange Theory. They both use the platforms as a bench for lifting along with several other exercises. This platform is way too short to lay down on. Photo is with a size 6 shoe. I'm only 5' tall and my head hangs off the end if I try to lay down for bench press. The other element that was slightly disappointing was the height. It is also too short to kneel on to do dumbbell rows. What this does work well for is actual step workouts. I figured I bought a step, and I have the Les Mills Ondemand app, may as well try a step workout. WOW. I honestly thought step classes were lackluster "fake" workouts. They aren't. So while this didn't work out for my intended purpose (because reading is hard), it did help me discover another great way to work up a sweat during the stay at home orders. It's sturdy, it doesn't slide on concrete, and it is a tool for a great step workout as advertised.

Commitment to Fitness: Staying on Track & Making Progress
At the start of the year, I made a resolution to get in better shape. Like most people, my motivation fizzled out by mid-January. But after a major life change, I decided to make a real commitment to my health. I purchased this along with a fitness subscription and fully embraced my journey to fitness. Three months in, it’s now an essential part of my weekly routine, and I genuinely feel off when I miss a session. The step feature is one of my favorites.

Perfect
This stepper is perfect for me and exactly what I was looking for. It is very similar to the ones you’ll find in the gym. I don’t think it is too small as some reviews say, maybe if you’re really tall or have large feet. I am 5’1” and wear size 7 shoes and it is perfect for me. I also don’t think it’s flimsy, I weigh 180 and have no issues. I think it’s a great price.

Fun for a good workout!
This riser is great! It is study with and without the risers. The risers do not click in place - just set in place, but it feels stable! Love the bright color. I would recommend using it with shoes or socks because the ridges do hurt your feet a little!

Adequate, but the risers do not attach to the platform, so moving it even a few inches is a pain.
The quality is fine - it's usable for the intended purpose, but the risers do not snap onto or connect to the platform (or the other risers) in any way. If you just want to set it up and keep it in the exact same place all the time, it will probably be a good choice for you. But if you want to be able to lean it against a wall to keep it out of the way - or even move it 6 inches to another position once you've set it up, the whole thing falls apart the moment you try to nudge it aside with your foot. I ended up returning it and getting another step for less money that the risers actually connect to and stay put if you move it around or lean it in the corner when you're not using it.
