Precision cuts and very sturdy cutter.
This cutter is fantastic. Easy to use. Perfect cuts each time, even if it is just a slim cut. Great price for a great product. I would recommend buying the bag as well as it will travel easier to crops if you are a scrapbooker.

must have for paper crafters
I avoided purchasing the incredible Cutterpillar for some time simply because of the expense. Didn't think it was possibly worth the $100 price tag. However, after numerous frustrating attempts and ruined cardstock I bit the bullet and purchased. Cutterpillare is AMAZING and accurate. No more slightly off kilter cards and papers. Straight and true cut every single time! Guillotines are okay but quickly become paper crushers after minimal usage and the rule style cutters are much too dependant upon even pressure, often resulting in a wavy edge and need for blade replacement. This will be the last paper trimmer I ever have to buy. <3 it!

one of the better cutters on the market
I really like the cutter for the nice clean line cuts. The major issues is not being able to see the ruler lines. When filling in the lines with paint it left smudge marked in the ruler. Also takes some getting used to operating. And with out a guard to hold the paper in place you have to be careful that the paper does not move. Price point is also on the high side

I can't imagining using a different paper cutter
I bought this in June 2021. I am so happy I did. I always get perfect cuts on any paper or stock I use. I love the lights that help me know how close I am to where I need to cut on lighter paper. I VERY much appeciate that if I paste the front of my card on and there is a teeny bit of overlap, I can cut up something as narrow as a needle. I would not want to have any other kind of paper cutter.

Feeling Duped
I bought a cutterpillar years ago and used it until the lines for measuring wore off completely and it made it hard to use. Otherwise, the paper cutter was good. I decided to order a new one and much to my surprise this product is much different. The old one was made of metal and was nice and sturdy and the new one is made of plastic. The worst problem is I’m constantly getting jagged edges. It does not cut anything like the old paper cutter. I am very very disappointed and feel duped by the manufacture.r. I paid $149 for this product and I’m now using my $30 paper cutter to get a clean cut Don’t buy this product.. it used to be the best paper cutter on the market but now it rates as one of the worst.

Blade Gets Stuck on Metal Track
I received this for Christmas and have used it maybe 6 times. Until today, I have used it to cut only thin patterned paper for card making. I tried to cut 4 sheets at one time and the blade got hung up on the track and wouldn't go any further (cutting from top to bottom. When I cut from bottom to top it seemed fine). Today I attempted to cut 1 sheet of Neenah Solar Crest 110lb Cover and the blade got stuck in 3 different places along the track. It's almost like there are chips in the track that don't allow the blade to roll smoothly, but I do not see anything wrong with the track. Worked well while it worked, but you could find something much better for around the same cost. *A friend of mine had the old version of this trimmer and had it for years! She finally replaced it as the blade would no longer self sharpen.

You can't go wrong with this trimmer
As a scrapbooker, card maker, maker of party decorations, etc. I have tried dozens of paper trimmers. This is by far the best one I have ever had! We can start with the quality of the cut. It is smooth and accurate. The lighted base makes it easy to line up your paper exactly where you want to cut it. I love the fact that you do not have to replace blades because the blade is self sharpening. I can't tell you how many blades I have gone through with my other cutters. Another unique feature is the drawer under the cutting base. You can store scissors, rulers, pens and more. The only slightly negative thing I can say about the CutterPillar is that the numbers are a little hard to see. My easy solution was to wipe white paint over the numbers and then wipe and you instantly have numbers you can see. Easy fix! Highly recommend this paper trimmer.

I have been using this cutter for just over a month and I absolutely love it! I can't imagine going back to ANY other cutter. I cut sheets of 12x18 80lb cover card stock down into all my cards, and with this cutter, I have saved myself days of cutting. It can cut 2 sheets easily, but without something but your hand to hold the paper in place (something I thought I would hate but actually ended up liking it better) the paper can wiggle. Otherwise, I could easily cut 3 sheets with ease. It cuts clean every single time! You can literally cut a hair off of you paper, so I can't recommend it enough! My old cutter left frayed edges with new blades and I would have to clean the edges up with scissors. I also chose this cutter because it has a self sharpening blade, with a lifetime warranty.

Received the Cutterpillar Pro today & tested it immediately. VERY DISAPPOINTED. It doesn't make clean cuts ))-;

After seeing various reviews on 'create and craft' website, (item was out of stock on their website), I decided to invest in this, and it doesn't let me down. Expensive for what it is but certainly worth the money. I purchased this for an 11 year old who loves cutting and sticking, so along with a die cutting machine, this complements it nicely. I loved the safety reviews where you are unable to cut yourself from the blade, this was a big bonus in my decision for a mature child of what to purchase as I certainly didn't want any tips of fingers missing. There is a light, (not used as yet) as birthday was a few days ago. Tray underneath, lightweight. I was sceptical at first and did a lot of research of items. I feel fairly confident to allow unsupervised use of this. Can't say I'm impressed with cleaning bits of paper up from the floor but certainly reaches my high expectations. Previous Reviews also indicated blade is extremely good and lasts a long time, I can't comment on this yet as it has only been used a couple of days. For safety, I fully recommend this. It is very easy to use, self sharpening, ruler, lights and tray storage underneath. Doesn't slip on surfaces. Go for it, treat yourself. Please note it take a while to arrive as it comes from the states, please be patient, it is so worth it. (it also takes a long time for things from Create and craft to come too). Allow time for delays in postage if for someone else. Definitely worth waiting for.

Wonderful cutter very easy to use. It’s not cheap but worth paying more than for a standard cutter. Excellent results
