As a former (and recovering) pro photographer (actually earning OK money), I come from world of a $22,500 Nikon kit including advanced lighting (typically portable) gear. I happily left that world behind moved into the Fuji X-series and then even dumped that to move to an Iphone X. Never looked back. However, one thing was always missing in that transition, lighting. Of course lighting is the key to great photography and especially portrait photography. Sometimes, available natural lighting does not cut it. That is where this set of lights comes in.For the price, this set cannot be beat. Of course there are comparable (other brand) products out there in this price range. This particular set will fulfill 99% of all end-user needs for portrait photography, even when using a mobile phone. The set itself is constructed fairly well and is incredibly simple and fairly portable. With typical use, the set should last years. The bulbs are fluorescent and you can eventually replace them with LED. Just be sure you are consistent with the color temperature for all your LED bulbs. Ultimately, you can adjust the white balance during post processing for critical shots. Hell, you can even adjust white balance on your phone now that Apple has a raw format. Either way, life is now a lot easier in that regard.This is the kind of set at a price point such that if you lose the set or run over it with your car, you will not be upset unlike if you owned expensive sets of Alien Bee's lighting. I would also add that working with constant lighting versus strobe (flash) lighting is much easier, especially when using cool lighting like LED or fluorescent bulbs. No flash sync to worry about and no fire or burn hazards associated with hot lights.I would definitely buy these again. Just keep in mind that flash always puts out more power compared to this type of set or even LED's. They are also not dimmable unlike much more expensive sets. However, they are such low voltage you can throw any dimmer on the line provided the bulb is dimmable (think LED not fluorescent). Or, you can use a variety of techniques to lower the light power. However, I suspect you may want to increase power in many, though not all circumstances.The umbrellas and carry bag are more than "good enough."

The photography studio light kit is easy to assemble and provides ample illumination for portraits, stills, and similar images. The kit comes at the right price, especially for an amateur or advanced amateur, and perhaps for the pro who needs an outfit for on-the-go assignments. The studio comes in a durable case, making it easy to transport and to store away.

I purchased this system for my son to use with his green screen for his YouTube channel and he is very happy with it. This is by no means a professional lighting system, but for the price I am Extremely pleased with the quality, it far surpassed my expectations. Everything arrived in perfect condition, the tripods are lightweight but very stable, the shades are a good size and quality and the bulbs are very bright and give out a good white light..

This works great. I purchased this to take pictures to put some things on eBay and photograph some painting. For this purpose, the Julius Studio light package is an affordable way to light up the products appropriately, so they can be seen on line. The materials are inexpensive, so should be handled carefully. There is a carry bag with this to store effectively, though it would not handle a lot of rough handling or traveling. But for taking photos or videos in one spot, it's perfect. The order was filled quickly (Amazon Prime) and FedEx even called me when I opted to change the delivery to my local FedEx shop, when I missed delivery at home.

I looked at many fair priced photography light kits and this was my choice. I am so happy I decided to go with the Julius Studio. Reading some of the negative reviews made me a little nervous, but upon arrival I was very satisfied.This light kit is really nice. It's very very easy to set up. Everything comes well packaged. Light bulbs have Styrofoam around them for a safe travel and all your item are in separate boxes. Not only that, all your items come in a well padded and made travel case. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this light set. Any negative review I read was completely inaccurate. The light bulbs are bright enough. The umbrellas are very well made product and I never had a problem with any of them tipping over or being top heavy. Nothing came broken and the packaging was perfect. I use them to take pictures of antiques and the difference it makes is unbelievable. I'm very very happy with my purchase.

I use this lighting set for when I facilitate webinars and Facebook Live events, and it has greatly improved the lighting in my studio.A great value for the price, and very simple to use. I also like the carry/storage case for when I'm not using the equipment.

el paquete me llegó antes de tiempo. las sombrillas son de buena calidad, los tripies son muy livianoses una excellente opcion si vas empezando.
