What an amazing product! So simple but pure genius! I’ve just bought new bedding for both beds and the one thing that spoiled the finished effect were the valances. The skirts on both the king size valance and small double valance were far too deep and they pooled on the carpet, looked awful and irritated me no end! I spent hours online searching for valances with the appropriate drop and drew a blank, but I noticed these divan bed base wraps on Amazon and they seemed like the answer. I desperately hoped they’d be as good as the reviews suggested and I wasn’t disappointed! They look fantastic on the beds and if you didn’t know they were base wraps you’d think they were the actual material of the bed base, they’re that good. I bought the charcoal grey one in king size and the beige one in small double size and both fitted the beds perfectly. I have headboards on both beds and as suggested by other reviewers I simply put the base wraps over the headboards and pulled them down over the wooden slats and they sit perfectly. Better to do this than cut holes in the base wraps as I should imagine the material would ladder eventually and the taughtness would be lost. The faux suede is finish is very convincing, the colours I bought are lovely and the material is lightweight but strong enough for the intended purpose. I’m converted - I’ll never buy a valance again!

I’m really pleased with this - it is so easy to put onto the bed base and it’s a snug fit that doesn’t need ironing. Love that it isn’t a skirt full of ruffles and it does look classy. The other reviews were really helpful - many of them mention buying a size down, but I decided to get the king for a king size bed, because our base has drawers in it. It fits perfectly, and as others have said it’s easy enough to pull up to get at the drawers. I’m so glad I read one review that mentions headboards; we have a headboard and so I bought this knowing I was intending to cut holes in it to allow for the headboard fixings that are on the bed base. This too was easy - headboard unscrewed and taken off, put the skirt on n cut through to make holes to allow for the screw fittings on the base, put headboard back on. Am very pleased with the skirt as it makes the base look so much better, but not at all old fashioned. Good product for a good price.

Great idea - very easy to fit, the material to nice but the seams are too flimsy....they've come away in 3 or 4 places. As per another review, because it's thin, it sags so I've had to attach it to the bed. Overall, it looks good but given the issues, I don't think it's going to last.

I bought this base cover in Dec 2022, at the time of writing this review it is Feb 2025 and I'm still pleased with my purchase! My cat absolutely destroyed my faux leather bed base from scratching the fabric to get in and out of the drawers and my bed looked so unsightly. I am not in a position to buy a new bed yet so I began searching for solutions and I somehow came across this product. I have a standard double bed but based on reviews I read at the time, they advised sizing down so I ordered the small double cover. The fabric is nice and soft to touch, does not feel cheap or flimsy and has greatly improved how my bed looks. I do wish that there were more colours available though. It was pretty easy and straight forward to put on my bed but I feel like even the small double size is still too loose/stretchy but I managed to make it work. I am still able to easily access my under bed drawers by simply lifting up the cover when needed. And using the cover has managed to keep my brat of a cat out of the drawers so that's even better! Overall it's a very good product at a great price point and I would purchase again!
