The book covers all important topics. It uses a lot of calculations to try to explain the theory. This is also the downside. Examples aren't well explained and this makes it frustrating to read through the book even if you're good in math.

Excellent book - basic structural engineering fundamentals are clearly presented with example calculations. Simple to follow and very well organised.
