Definitely a good filter! I was without heat and left the oven on for heat. The filter plugged up twice that night from the smoke from the oven. The next day looked at the filters I changed and they were completely plugged up. Great filter!

Not quite as the picture implies -- there are six assembled pairs of pollen/dust filters, and a couple of bags of just the media. I don't see anything particularly wrong with this, as there's slightly less waste, and washing/drying the pollen filter was never fun. Assembly seems easy enough, although the box helpfully includes a cartoon suggesting that if I'm not competent to place a filter in a plastic frame, perhaps I should blow a whistle or something so somebody can come help me.Pros:They definitely fit the machineCons:The material is different from stock filters. I haven't the equipment to properly test airflow or its ability to trap particles, so we'll leave it at thatThe pollen filter is not washable; instead, there's a bag of replacements, so it's a bit more work than just pulling out the filter and putting in a new oneThey're noisier than stock filters -- there's a slight wheezing noise coming from the filter area that I confirmed isn't present with stock filters. I assume it's the plastic grids these have. Inexplicably, this noise gets quieter after the first 10 minutes. YMMV
