I am very pleased with this compact. It is just what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations. The butterfly and lilies design on the front is just gorgeous. It is thick and of good quality; very vibrant and doesn't look cheap. The back of this compact also features a butterfly and floral design; although, it is not mother of pearl like the front of the compact is. The mirrors inside are nice and they do their job. One is a regular mirror and the other mirror is a slightly magnified mirror (possibly 3x?). I am extremely pleased with this lovely little compact. It fits right into my purse for my convenience. I am very happy with this purchase. Shipping was also super fast!

The mother of pearl floral design on the front is beautiful, exactly as the photo and slightly iridescent. The embossed design on the rear is lovely, the mirrors are clear and flawless, and the gift box is perfectly nice.But the clasp is a problem.It takes real pressure to push the clasp open, and it's difficult to close as the top and bottom seem to be out of alignment. Without the clasp problem this mirror would be a really lovely gift, but the clasp reduces it to a quid on market stall stuff.I bought the mirror as a gift for my elderly mother, but there's no way she'll be able to open and close it.
