does the ink dry quickly?

Yes, it dries quickly. The lines are thin and precise, too.

Is the ink waterproof?

It’s a gel so no. It’ll smear if liquid gets on it.

How do these comare to hi tec c maika pens?

I bought a few of the Maikas thinking they have a better designed look. I don't like them nearly as much. The feel of holding the pen is not nearly as nice as the traditional Pilot Hi-Tec C. I gave the ones I bought away.

do these pens bleed through thin paper (like bible pages) ?

They don't bleed through. The writing is slightly visible on the other side of the pages I've written on, but so is the writing of a ball point pen in my Bible.
