This is a good leave-in conditioner, especially for curls and waves, but a little goes a long way. If you use too much, it can leave your hair feeling sticky or weighed down. Once I found the right amount for my hair, it worked well—moisturizing and lightweight. Just be careful with the quantity!

I bought this conditioner for my mom for Mother's Days since she has a mixture of 3-type curls and could never find the right product. So many products have mango in them which she is allergic to. It was hard to find one that doesn't have mango, doesn't smell like coconut or fruit, is reasonably priced, and is light weight enough for fine loose curls but can cater to tighter, thicker hair types. This product did just that and her hair LOVES it! It's moisturizing, has a smooth creamy texture, has an extremely light almost not existent scent, and is affordable. This is a good product as far as leave in conditioners go. It's not oily or heavy so it makes a good starting point for adding other products on top. I have natural (african american) hair and sometimes use this as my leave in for my twist outs and rod curls so I do add a couple of other products on top with no issues.The one of two negatives I think is that it doesn't come in a spray bottle. The flip top is aggravating to use generally but at least the product comes out with ease (it's not overly thick). I tried to add it to a spray bottle and it's too thick for the thin pump and adding a little bit of water didn't work either as it just separated again after it was shook (which tells me it's not completely water soluble so it doesn't absorb completely into the hair shaft) The other negative is the sheer amount of chemicals in the product. (the culprit of the separation in water) While it works for it's intended purpose, I wish it were more all natural.I have sensitive skin and this didn't irritate me too much more than any new product I use does. The smell was pleasant also. I will keep a bottle around because I do like it but I will keep searching for a more all natural leave in conditioner.

This bottle lasts forever! I only use this. I'm sensitive and this causes me no problems.

Not sure about some other reviews but I LOVE this WEIGHTLESS conditioner. You use very very little. I apply it to my hair right after I shower barely putting a towel to my head. I use about a quarter to half dollar mixed in my hands into my wet hair so it distributes easily and I dont over apply it. My hair is transitioning to grey long curly low porosity hair. My hair can get so tangled sometimes I have to use regular conditioner on the ends and comb it thru with a wide tooth comb. I rinse that out then I apply this conditioner as described above. The scent is so clean and fresh smelling I have had compliments. Your hair is so manageable soft and shiny with this conditioner. So afraid it will be like my last "find" and it will be discontinued so I bought 3 today. One bottle has lasted about 2 months and that was over applying sometimes until I went with wet hair application. All I can say is I am impressed and I have been trying everything. So. It's a great product and I am not switching anytime soon.

This product is intended to be used **without** conditioning your hair first. I think this could be great for hair that doesn’t need a ton of moisture or for before heat styling but it does NOT work well with my 2c hair. However, I do love Giovani products - the lightweight feel, subtle scent and good quality are consistent with the other Giovani products I love.

Love this moisturizer. It is not cheap, but it's worth what I spend on it. It is a concentrated product, so you don't need much. This product can be used by naturals and relaxed hair. I am African American.I have thick, coarse relaxed hair. My hair is just past my shoulders. When I say I don't even need a dime size amount of this product to moisturize all of my hair, I mean it. This product makes my hair feel soft, detangled and smooth. Even my new growth responds to this product! This product does not weigh my hair down at all. I still have plenty of bounce and flowy movement to my hair. If you have frizzy, curly hair, this product will help that too. Keep in mind not to use too much. Great product. I will repurchase and I would recommend.
