Excellent Mic Stand
This thing has everything you want in a good, solid mic stand. I am 6'3" and it adjusts plenty high for even me to stand and sing into a mic. It is black powder coated steel, has rubber tips on the feet so it won't slide around. The adjusting knobs for tightening and loosing. There's even a metal rod you can use to keep the upright part from collapsing down which snaps into several pre drilled holes if you wish to use it. The only thing that might bother some folks is that it doesn't collapse and fold down as far as some that you can carry in a bag. But I've found that the types of stands that collapse and fold, etc for more convenient carrying are usually flimsier or have to be taken apart. I really can't think of anything negative to say about this stand. It lives up to its description!! Hard to believe this stand is that inexpensive. You can adjust it down for sitting on a stool or standing or anywhere in between and the boom pole is also fully adjustable. It doesn't sag or change position once you have it adjusted and with everything tightened this mic stand will stay where you set it.

Sturdy MICROPHONE stand, NOT a camera stand
This is a very sturdy stand for the price. I do wish the company would package it better. I ordered two. The first one I opened was perfect. The second had been damaged in shipping. One of the tension knobs was busted and the extension arm was jammed into the holder. The holder was bent and the plastic was damaged. I promptly ordered a replacement and received it within two days. Unfortunately it too had a problem. The small tension knob on the extension arm would not tighten. The screw hole needed to be tapped out. I returned that one for a refund and bought another one. I know what you are thinking..."two of the three were either defective or damaged, why would you order another?" Please hear me out....I LOVED the first one. It does what it is supposed to do. These stands will not be used on the road, but will be used in my classroom to hold light-weight condenser microphones. The replacement stand came today (12-29-2020) The box was beat up. It had been opened and retapped. I was worried. I looked it over as I was pulling it from the box....not a scratch on it. Best of all...IT WORKS! Yea!! Happy customer here.

Product is sturdy and well made but arrived scuffed in two places and without cable clips
This is a product review and Pyle makes sturdy equipment which I why I purchased this stand. It's very similar to the stands my band uses for our PA monitors. The boom arm can be used or not depending on your preference. The stand is NOT lightweight. It's heavy duty and the tripod legs can be width adjusted to suit your needs. Unfortunately, the Amazon drive delivered me a box with two holes in it. The tightening screw that secures the boom arm onto the stand was protruding. And there was another hole down toward the bottom of the box. When I opened the box, found the boom arm had been scuffed badly enough in two places so that the paint had been removed. Because I need this stand for three upcoming gigs, beginning tomorrow, I didn't have time to mess around with the return process. I've purchased many items from Amazon and never had a delivery issue. I called Customer Service, yelled at the automated system until it put me through to a REAL person and explained the problem. The rep was very helpful and worked quickly to resolve the issue. TY Amazon rep...wherever you are. My only complaint is that the stand doesn't come with any clips to hold the mic cable in place. Since the diameter is larger than normal stands, my other ones won't fit. Would be nice if Pyle included 2 or 3 like everyone else.

Well worth the price!!
I would rate this stand a 4 1/2 out of 5. I have been using one of these stands for 3-4 years and only have one bad thing to say about it. The bolt in the boom pivot stripped out within the first year and I could not find a similar replacement for the bolt. I ended up using a different bolt which sometimes requires a screwdriver to adjust; but this is a minor inconvenience. Other than that, this is an excellent stand; very stable - I also have a tablet holder and drink holder attached with no loss of stability. The tripod base is great; no tip-over to date. It is a bit bulky compared to some other stands, but the stability and strength far outweighs the bulk. Well worth the price!!

Better than I expected for the price.
So first off, for less than 30 bucks I didn’t expect much but didn’t really need anything amazing but I’ve been around a lot of mic stands and I was honestly how surprised I was with how sturdy and solid this thing was, mics have a little weight so I didn’t want it to feel super light and wobbly and it def isn’t, no parts of it feel light or cheap this think is solid all parts were flawless and worked perfectly, def a score, I hope who ever is looking for an affordable mic stands finds this review.

Pyle's Service Kinda Sucks - But They Build Tanks
My original order was a single stand that came as a used offering from AZ. I got a used stand with busted and missing parts, which is fine but AZ recommended me to go to Pyle first, so I tried that. Never got a response and ended up having to return the single. It sucks cause I only really needed one of them, but with two I loaned one to my drummer, and this is where the positives really begin. These things are heckin' tanks, for real. Super super sturdy. In fact, so sturdy that I'm actually rigging one of them to hang an instrument off of it (as vocalist and keyboards, keytar-stand is gonna be a great prop). They can handle an almost full extension on the boom with a mic, great for my drummer, and they are also convertible for my gig roommates who like to extend them super high for their condenser mics and garage recording style. Originally I was kinda mad at Pyle for the service thing since I basically had to buy two of them. Now I am genuinely glad I did.

I've bought several stands from Amazon - sight unseen - in the past. They're always a bit flimsy. This stand, however, is super strong. It feels well-made, with sufficient weight to keep it stable, even when the arm is fully extended. 5 stars. Would buy again.

I own a couple of mic stands but wanted a cheap one in extra. I got this heavy duty one at 43$ cad and it's very nice quality. Almost as good as my K&M.
