Q: This is not the slouchy hat is it? I want the one that fits tight to the head. Just let me know if it the right to the head one and not the oversize.

It’s somewhere in between. It isn’t really slouchy but it doesn’t fit snug either. It’s pretty awkward and looks ridiculous on. I’m going to have to return.

in a circle around my forehead I measure 21". my hair is very short. hat just touching forehead and almost covering ears --I can reach back and grasp a small handful of hat in each hand. I do not have the empty, draping effect seen in the ad. there is stretch in the knit material. I expect if you want the looseness seen in the ad you could manipulate it to get that effect. If you have a good head of hair I expect it will fill that looseness in the back. It is a nice hat with a good bit of stretch for those who need that or like to be creative with it.

Q: Can the label be removed without ruining the hat?

No, that’s part of the look. you should probably buy a different hat without a label
