Defiantly works best with a brush application not roller
I don’t normally write reviews on Amazon but had to for this!! I normally use the valspar paint glitter but thought I’d give this ago as there were a lot more colour options and you could also get the chunky version I used the holographic rose gold shade but the photo doesn’t do it justice, mixed in with the paint really well, after applying the second coat it was really bright and sparkly but I could see a lot of the glitters were a bit muted instead of using there buffing pads I used a new washing up sponge which I have done with all other paint filters on wall and just gave it a run over in circular motions to bring out the sparkle even more!! I had actually mixed in the rust oleum glitter into my paint before this one but was really disappointed didn’t shine without the flash on my phone being on nor event the normal bedroom light or sunlight but this one shines in all lights even just the tv light in the dar, 1000% recommend and will be trying the other shades out, one of the best glitter additives I have used alone with the valspar ones!! Only recommendation is only apply this with a brush not a roller, I did my first coats without any glitter and added that in for the final coat did one wall with the roller and it was patchy back over with a brush and just a brush on the other wall and it works perfectly

Expensive for what it is.
This glitter is expensive for what it is.We used it to cover one small wall. You can do the first layer or two of paint without the glitter and then add this for the final application. We used a 2.5L tin for the one wall in total with the glitter being used for around 1L of it which worked well. The glitter did the job but you can’t escape the fact that it is expensive for such a basic product but this does seem to be the going price and is comparable to shops such as b&q

A lot of effort for minimal results
The media could not be loaded. I decided to paint and add glitter rather than buy glittery wallpaper. I used the colour ‘Ballet Slipper’ by Johnson’s. I bought a 2.5 litre of paint and used half of that to pain the wall first. Next, I added TWO PACKS of Mother of Pearl coloured glitter to the remaining litre. I applied with a brush after reading in a previous comment this was the best way to apply the glitter evenly. When it dried I lightly buffed the wall. As you can see, the results are extremely minimal. It was a whole lot of work and you can barely see the glitter. At night with a light on there’s a teeny shimmer. During the day you can’t see it at all. I would say they’re will be much better products out there. This cost a fair amount for little to no result. Spend your money on another brand or buy the actual glitter wallpaper. I honestly wished I hadn’t bothered.

Brilliant and easy
I loved this. Saw the idea on Escape to the Chateau and thought I'd try it.It's a lovely finish. My advice to shine an up light on the ceiling ( which is where I used it) so that you really see the iridescence.
