M-Edge UN1-E3-ABS-W E-Luminator for Compact E-Readers (White)

This little lamp lights up bright enough for its use but it doesn't always stay in place as it always is popping off and I just find that it is easier to use a regular light or lamp instead.

The light does the job as intended. The mechanism is a touch switch that gives three levels of light, which is a nice feature. However, it is a little sensitive so it takes a minute to get used to and the bendable neck is a little shorter than the previous version. But for the money it does the job just fine.

I am happy to state this book light works very well. I especially like the three different levels of light. Each time you touch the on/off switch it increases the light brightness, after the third level the light fades to black (turns off). My only issue and I have had this issue with other lights is a small glare. Depending on the angle you position the light. I think if the adjustable neck was a bit longer you would be able to adjust the light to avoid either a reflection glare off the Kindle or the edge of the light shining in you eye. I also suppose if the bulb was recessed a little the same effect could be achieved. Over all I am very happy with this book light.

I was looking for a light that automatically turned itself off after a period of inactivity because I read in bed but tend to fall asleep. This light fit the bill. It is thin enough to fit on/in any book. Light weight so it doesn’t add to the weight of the book. The battery life is good too.

This is my second m-edge light and cover(Gift for my wife)They changed the switch from a toggle to a push button which is an improvement. The basic light is wonderful -bright and lasts a long time on a single AAA battery.My first light bought about 6 months ago his an intermittent blink and I have to move the head until the light stays on - the second seems to be okThe m-edge cover is a very good product - fits the KIndle well, holds the light coveniently when shut off, and is comfrtable to hold. the on/off button on the Kindle is a little awkward to get at when in the cover

I have a second generation Kindle, and this light is great. It slides right into the case that I have and adjusts to give the perfect amount of light. When I bought this, I didn't realize that it has a dimmer function (like a touch light) and has three different stages of brightness. The only problem mine has is the ratchet function on the side of the like that supports from the clip to the light lost it's middle ratchet, however, since the light is adjustable the problem is easily fixed. I love this light for the price.

From a bookstore, I had purchased a mini clip-on reading booklight that used lithium batteries - then discovered they only lasted about 6-8 hours and cost almost $5 ea per battery. So I purchased the m-edge e-luminator kindle booklight which uses 1 AAA battery and lasts about 20 hrs. It works awesome! With 3 settings - low, medium, and high, I only set it at medium and it gives off plenty of light! I just love reading my kindle!! Although I have a different type of kindle bookcover, not m-edge, I was able to insert the tab into the side of the inside of my bookcover. That works for reading at home each night, but when traveling I'll have to remove it from the bookcover and re-insert it. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it!!! The light works perfectly and fits perfectly into the M-Edge Trip Kindle Jacket I purchase. Although the case is not meant to have the light permanently attached like some other jackets which enclose the light within - I find the light itself takes up very little space so I simply fold it down an keep it with me day or night. As for how well it illuminate the kindle it does the job well and with its three different light levels you should have no problems reading anywhere any time.On a side note: I'm from Toronto Canada and had to purchase the light from the ".com/USA" site not the ".ca" so it cost me a little extra but I find it was well worth it for the convince of the lights size compared to the choices that where available on other canadian sites.
