My garage lighting was sub-par for years. I happened to spot this fixture while browsing the internet one day. I looked closely and discovered it would be a simple process to connect to my garage door opener so that it comes on as my garage door is triggered from my car as I arrive home. With the purchase of a plug to replace the original opener light and a light socket & cord to screw this light into, I was all set to mount the new fixture to the ceiling. Now I can be sure nothing is lurking in the garage because the light is so much better. Very happy with the light, the easy installation and the increased light.

I bought one for my attic and one for my crawlspace. Easy to use.

Works very well

I received the light, put it into a light socket, and when I turned on the light, it sparked, and only one of the arms lit, and that light was very dim. I went through Amazon returns, and received a new one in two days. This second light works well. It is definitely brighter than a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb. In fact, you can't look at the lights directly without discomfort due to the brightness. Due to my first light being defective I thought about giving this a lower rating. However, I'm giving the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt that the defective unit was just an anomaly. I'm giving it five stars because, now that I have a working unit, it's really bright and just what I was looking for in my garage overhead socket.

I did not realize they are "as seen on TV" but they still worked great. The box did smell like fertilizer, do not know why. It lights up my 2 car garage to where i can see things clearly and better than my 60 watt bulb.It felt as if it was a sturdy product with the aluminum wings attached to the plastic body.

If you have been searching around trying to compare and do research like I do for hours sometimes then do yourself a favor and stop here— just buy it. I didn’t receive this item in exchange for a review; I just really like this light! We had a single overhead bulb light in our garage before installing this. This is literally like day and night compared to our old light. This thing lights up every corner of the whole garage! I love that it just screwed into the existing socket, so no install hassles. I also love that you can move the lights at different angles. Also, it is going to last Years and years!!!! Haha when we sell the house I will probably take it with us— yes I like it that much. When you find something simple, functional, and hassle free that works you keep it!

I bought two with the intention of installing both of them in my garage. However, after I installed the first one, I realized I did not need to use the second one. One of these was all I needed in the garage.

Purchased pair of Beyond Bright LED Ultra-Bright Garage Lights in March 2022, which were delivered April 6, 2022; hence the Amazon return window ended on May 6, 2022. Put them into use immediately in garage, both lights on same circuit. One failed completely near end of September 2022, so it lasted barely over 5 months. These were used indoors in a garage, and were not used very often, or for very long periods of time. Numerous attempts to contact manufacturer (Ontel) went unanswered. Packing box clearly states unit is "Durable and Long Lasting" and "Lasts 30+ years," but that is not a warranty - only false advertising. While working, the light was fine and I was satisfied, however as it does not live up to its claim of being long lasting, and as Ontel Customer Services has not responded to my requests for assistance, replacement, exchange, or refund, I cannot recommend this product. For the price paid compared to its performance, this light is vastly overpriced. Buy a cheaper brand with good reviews and don't expect that it will last forever. Or purchase locally where you can return item to store if it fails. Although LED light manufacturers claim that LED lights are an economic alternative to incandescent or fluorescent lighting, their relative high price and questionable reliability contradicts any claims of economy.
