Fantastic Compound Bow for Teenagers – Highly Recommend!
I purchased the Bear Archery Royale Ready to Hunt Compound Bow for my teenagers, and it has been an incredible investment! Sturdy, durable, and lightweight, the quality is outstanding, making it perfect for young archers. The bow is compact but still packs plenty of power, offering an excellent balance of performance and ease of use. One of the best features is its adjustability. It’s incredibly easy to adjust the draw weight and length without needing a bow press, making it ideal for growing teens or beginners still finding their stride in archery. My kids were able to start shooting almost immediately, thanks to the “ready to hunt” setup. The bow comes fully equipped with high-quality accessories, so we didn’t have to purchase anything extra to get started. The smooth draw and excellent accuracy make it a pleasure to use, and my teens love practicing with it. Whether they’re shooting at targets in the backyard or preparing for hunting trips, this bow delivers consistently impressive performance. It’s also lightweight enough for extended use without causing fatigue. As a parent, I also appreciate the safe and thoughtful design—it feels reliable, and the included accessories are well-made. Bear Archery clearly put a lot of thought into creating a bow that’s perfect for both beginners and intermediate archers. Overall, the Bear Archery Royale is a fantastic choice for teenagers. It’s versatile, user-friendly, and built to grow with them as they improve their skills. Highly recommend this bow for anyone looking to introduce their kids to archery or provide them with a top-notch tool for practice and hunting!

Great starter bow
Perfect for my 7 year old son to start learning. He’s a bit smaller and this still fits him perfect. Great for learning

Great bow for kid
Gift for our six year old son. We got his draw length measured at Cabelas but easily done at home. It fits all his needs. The only downfall is there are NO instructions on Bear website or on the internet for how to get the length or draw lbs adjusted---trail and error we got it. Overall, seems like it is going to hold up well for several years as he grows.

Compound best
This is a good beginner/first bow and can grow with kids, it’s perfect for a petite adult like myself. It’s so lightweight and easy to manage. I love that it’s completely diy with the draw length and weight setting, the only reason to go the to archery shop would be for target practice. I love it!!

Great beginner bow.
I ordered this for a Christmas gift for my daughter, 14 years old and never shot a bow. Arrived packaged well, took her to a local archery shop to help set it up. They changed out the peep sight and set her draw length. The draw length is only adjustable in inches so they couldn’t get her exactly right. But she was hitting the target at 10 yards in just a few minutes. I think this will be a great entry level bow that will grow as she does. Overall we are happy this product.

Very happy with purchase
I was very impressed by the quality of this bow. This was a Christmas present for my 9 year old daughter. This was her first bow and with a little adjustment, she was able to use it without hiccup. Definitely worth the buy!

Long review but hopefully people find this helpful. Showed up missing the sticker that goes on the riser.(update i asked bear archery for the missing sticker and they sent out the missing 1 as well as an extra free of charge) We have purchased 2 versions of this bear royal bow "Toxic" for me and "blue" for my daughter. Both bows came setup wrong and needed slight adjustments on the arrow rest and sight. I believe when they put these bows together they just push the arrow rest(wisker biscuit) so the end is flush with the bow riser this aims the arrow way to the left. They also did the same thing with the horizontal adjustment on the sight(its mounted so end is flush). Quick fix...loosen bolt holding arrow rest put arrow on string and into holder...move rest so arrow is straight(can look down from top view like in my picture to get it straight as possible). Now that your arrow is at least straight you need to move the sight housing over horizontally to match. Loosen sight horizontal lock bolt move pins to line up with string and arrow(this isnt exact but will get you started) I added pic so you can see roughly what position my sight is at when alighted with arrow and string. Pictures are after I adjusted stuff to be closer to proper. Tried to include pics of the adjustment point markings so you can copy if needed. The whisker biscuit(arrow rest can pretty much be moved all the way to the right on both of my bows I had to set it the entire way to the right to get arrow even close to straight) Sight eyeball it so your string is straight in the middle of riser(blue part) then move sight to alight with string and center of arrow(hide pins behind the string)you see the pins through the peep sight when you draw back so don't worry about "hiding" them. When shooting line up peep sight on string with sight housing and keep the bubble in the center on the sight level(you tube video can help)basically keep sight circle inside peep sight circle. Sight Pins top to bottom 20yards,30yards,40yards Seting up targets using a range finder helps ALOT to setup proper distances. Start off with large target at 20yards with a big + on it. Aim for center of +(using top sight pin) if arrow hits left move sight housing left if arrow hits right move sight housing to the right. If arrow hits low move housing down...if it hits high move sight housing up. This will get you started for sighting in the sight. Once you have horizontal and vertical dialed in you should be hitting the bullseye at 20Y. Now you can try the 30 and 40Y pins. But instead of moving entire housing up and down you move the pins if required. If arrow is low move pin down if it hits high move it up.your left and right should have been dialed in at 20 but may require a little bit of adjustment when you shoot farther distances like 40y. 5/5stars even though they need adjustment at 1st. and the missing sticker issues has been resolved . Intital adjustment was easier than i though after watching some youtube videos. i quite like shooting mine so far and so does my daughter.
