Shoe Toebox Toeburst Blowout Hole Prevention Insert/Patch (Black)

Bought a pair of sneakers and within two months the top of the toe was starting to show wear from the inside. The sneakers fit well and were so comfortable but they just didn't hold up. $93 down the drain??? Figured it was worth trying to stick these adhesive patches on the inside to try to save the sneakers. They work really well! After over eight months of almost daily wear the patches are still completely adhered and show no wear. Then I put a patch inside other sneaker, too, so it was protected and it never showed any wear. First, it was a bit tricky getting the patches cut to the correct size (they are HUGE and each one can do several sneakers if you only have to protect the big-toe area) so I recommend figuring out what you need with a scrap of paper before cutting the actual patch. After that it took two tries to get the patch stuck to the right spot. That glue sticks IMMEDIATELY to whatever it touches: fingers, shoe laces, etc. So unlace the shoe completely and go slowly and you will do fine. I ended up practicing how to position it with my paper template a bit before going in the second time. Worked for me. Highly recommended!

I am a big guy at 6’4” and 275 pounds. My shoe size is a 16 wide. If I purchase shoes that have the nylon mesh top, my big toe will poke a hole through the shoes after about a few weeks. My wife bought these as a preventative for me. The inserts were easy to apply and were comfortable when wearing my shoes. They appear stable and have not tried to dislodge. It’s been a couple months now, and they have offered stable, sturdy protection for my shoes. I do a lot of walking with my job, and they perform very well. I can’t even tell that they are in there. The package comes with two pairs of inserts. This is perfect as it will give protection for my future pair of shoes.

I bought these to fix my air max 270s that for some reason always get a hole in the toe box. They work well but I'd say they are probably better at preventing holes if you think to put them in when you first get your shoes. They are customizable so you can make them fit your shoe the way that you want. They fit really well and they are pretty sticky. They are fairly easy to put in your shoe as well.

I lift my big toe when I walk so I always damage the tops of my shoes. These are awesome and really great for Hey Dudes! I wear a size 7 in Hey Dudes and I can get one pair of shoes covered by cutting one patch in half. So for the 4 pack of patches I can fix 4 pairs of shoes! They are easy to cut, feel almost like the shoes themselves, and stick really well. Like others said, you need to be patient and take your time placing them but the results have been great! I made a template out of my first pair and then used that to cut other patches. When I wore the shoes I couldn't even tell it was different. Hopefully they will hold up in the long run, but based on trying them I really think they will. I have not washed the shoes with the patches on so I cannot speak to how they would hold up through that. I put the little no show socks over the removable insoles, so I won't be washing the shoes very often. I plan on using these on other shoes and highly recommend this product.

My toes always end up putting holes in the tops of running shoes. I have bought moleskin padding and cut pieces to make a patch for the top corner of shoes but this product is stiffer and so is a bit easier to apply. (Moleskin is very soft and floppy.) Also nice that it comes in colors. They ARE hard to apply, but anything placed up at the top of the shoe like that is going to be tricky. I've used these for years, maybe once or twice I had one end up losing its adhesion & coming off but they usually stay pretty well. I do think they stay better if you don't get the shoe wet, so keep that in mind. I also cut each patch in half as I only need the top corner above my big toe covered. So they are a bit pricey, but I get do 2 out of each patch. I always have these 'in stock' at my house.

They were very sticky at first. Now I've resorted to super glue to keep them in. The work great and will make my shoes last longer.

A bit pricey for what it is, however these patches work at preventing toe box blowout. I apply them to all sneakers prior to wearing for the first time.

Love these. I have one foot that was broken and I guess the big toe sticks up more than the other. I was always poking a hole in the shoe before it was worn out. Now, each shoe wears evenly. The only problem is that it is just a little hard to get it in the shoe. I do cut them in half as I only need them in one spot. Maybe a whole one would be easier to insert.

This product has saved me from replacing my shoes as often as they protect the toe area from getting holes. Work like a dream although not the easiest to install. You do need to remove laces and fiddle a bit to get them placed properly. Work like they should.

The patch sticks firmly inside the toe box. Excellent product and reasonable price.

I often poke my toe through the front of a shoe. Bought these to go inside a shoe with a fabric toe. I’ve had them over a year and they seem to be doing the job. They were really hard to put in though as they are sticky once you remove the protective paper over the adhesive which must be removed before putting inside shoe (of course).

I have a problem, my toes always poke through my shoes, no matter how short my nails are cut. I can ruin a brand new pair of shoes within a month, but these have worked very well. Just peel and stick in the toe of a pair of shoes and it avoids the problem all together or stops and existing hole from expanding. I've used these in sneakers with mesh, and dressier suede shoes. Just open up the shoe, loosen the laces pull out the insole and slide these in and press firmly.

These toe supports are an ok product. They do prevent your toe from busting through fabric shoes, but depending on the thickness of the fabric you may see them through white. If i was to order again, i would buy them in white. Otherwise they stick very well, and are a good size for a womans foot. For reference i am a size 7.
