A lot of the negative reviews are from the people who obviously didn’t read the directions. You mix your soil with water, wait 24 hours for it to settle, then test the clear water on top of the mix. Works great!!

This is my second time buying this test kit. It is easy to conduct the test and it’s easy to read the results. I recommend to beginners and pros.

I'm not 100% sure of the readings but i will try to remedy some of the deficiencies and see if I notice any improvements.

I used this to test the soil above my mother in laws grave. It said that soil need no additional fertilizer because the hole was full of manure. I knew that woman was full of bull stuff…

East to use

Worthless: My first Luster leaf Rapidtest was purchased spring 2023. Based upon the results of that test, showing complete nutrient depletion, I heavily fertilized per instructions. The garden showed classic signs of too much nitrogen, heavy foliage, little fruit. I pulled out the test kit again this year, four separate garden plots again tested as fully depleted. Suspicious that the kit was expired, as some say expires at 18 months or two years, I bought another kit. Again, 4 plots tested as depleted. I then put a pellet of nitrogen fertilizer in the container and let it soak overnight. The result, no nitrogen detected. I wish to be refunded for both tests. And some explanation and apology.

Last year I put in raised garden beds and filled them with “good” soil from the recycling plant. The results were pretty lackluster. I purchased this test kit and made adjustments accordingly. My garden is prospering and delivering plenty of produce now. Buy it, use it, be happy.
