After careful installation Hassle free use very comfortable
Dakine Delux fin leash is a cleaver idea it should be noted that deterioration of neoprene happens in adverse conditions and these will not normally rot or separate from the Velcro lining. The straps are packaged assembled and need to be disassembled in order to be installed around the heel strap of your swim fins this can be challenging for someone with large fingers or someone with weak fingers. It may seem at first it is impossible to reverse the strap webbing through the buckle because of the webbing’s end stitching but if you push some of the strap through the opposite side of the buckle you will have enough slack on the end to reverse the end tip back through the buckle’s cinch at a 30 degree angle and pinch the stitched end back through which is actually a fail safe to keep the strap’s end from slipping out of the buckle. Once you have the strap undone you can open the neoprene padding by slipping the straps webbing though the eyelets which are carefully protected by a thin layer of neoprene cement around the eyelets the buckles need to be slipped out through the eyelets also before the pads can be installed around your swim fin heel strap ... After the neoprene padding is wrapped around the swim fin heel strap the nylon webbing and buckle can be re-installed back through the pads eyelets and the buckle strap re-inserted through the buckle’s end cinch The neoprene padding is thin but comfortable and does not interfere with the sizing of your swim fins it is not nessisary to buy a half size larger to accommodate as recommended elsewhere. After the fin savers are installed they do not need to be removed and since removal is the opposite of installation it is best to leave the swim fin savers on but if you have other sets of fins you should probably buy a pair of Dakine fin savers for each pair you own. Once installed it is very easy to put you swim fins on and tighten the fin savers webbing with its buckle across the top of your foot and removal of the fins are just as simple as releasing the buckle’s cinch and then removing your swim fin. No Velcro strap around the ankle or shoelaces becoming knotted they are really hassle free after installation.

Awesome product…
After losing a fin while body surfing in some fairly large surf, I decided I needed a leash system. I chose the Dakine because it looked like it would not only keep me from losing a fin, but also keep my fins from falling off. What I didn’t expect was that they actually increased the comfort, and took up the slack due to me being kinda between sizes on the Yucca fins. I like these leashes so much that I just ordered another set of fins And another set of Dakine leashes🤙🏽

Comes with no instructions, had to Google it!
I could not figure out how to get these apart and installed on the straps of my fins. I finally found a YouTube video and it helped me realize that you must fully deconstruct the strap and buckle on each of these before you can put them onto the fins. These should come with instructions. I am very happy with them now that the hard part is over.

Do what they sposed to
Got fins that don't float so tethers a must. Took a minute (and youtube video) to figure out how to put on, but I can slip in and out easily and they keep my fins on me.

Okay for what I paid.
I give them 3 stars. Two major things at least to me. One is the straps are a little on the short side so when looped there is almost no tang left to grab and pull. I have really skinny feet so it’s not a big foot problem. The second problem I have is that both my straps are twisted at the ends when sewed in and the straps do not sit flat so the have an awkward bump where they go thru the holes. Not sure if a design flaw or manufacturing flaw since both straps are like this. Other fin straps I’ve seen sit flat at both ends. I would have returned but amazon charges me for shipping because of remote location.

Must have for kids
Perfect. Keeps fins on and provides some cushion for the heel. Saves money too because you can wear fins longer. You can buy find a little bigger and grow into them.

Best
Just received and put them on. Really not that difficult as some are suggesting....just fully pull it all apart and then reassemble on the fin. Best design out there.....sometimes I like to take my fins off in the water instead of struggling to walk out......these should allow that. Also some added protection around the ankle. Got another pair ordered for a second set of fins. Happy with purchase.

Avec les palmes générique, les pieds bougent souvent dedans, ce qui provoque des ampoules. Ces fixations permettent de bien caller les pieds sur l'avant des palmes mais aussi évite de perdre les palmes dans les grosses vagues.

Feels good and reduces chaffing and that loose feel. The strap part holding the fin to your foot is a bit on the short side though, making it a bit difficult to slide your foot into the fin.
