It really does what it says on the tin. I use it to secure my Leatherman Surge, (heavy utility tool) to my belt using the clip, and add the cable when I’m fishing, in case it drops into the water. I can’t believe how strong the magnets are, I only have to hold the tool near the receiving magnet and it almost jumps onto it, without me hardly looking. It is also super strong and does not drop, even when I give it a good shake. A well deserved 5 stars.😉👍

Good value very strong magnet seems well made I recommend it

I ordered this as part of my new fly fishing kit as I wanted a magnetic quick release for the net. For the price I didnt expect it to be of such good quality - good strong magnet; long coiled tether with decent clips plus a carabiner. The icing on the cake was two short zip ties were included in case you want to attach the keeper to the net head rather than the handle. Minor thing but indicative of thought. Very impressed.

The magnet is good ,The ridges around the magnet May damage your jacket as they are sharp ruff ,The clasps are made from which seems like plastic, see picture . Will not last . The one I received did not close . I was told by the seller to try with oils and water or to return .
