Welsh Cake Three Flavor Gourmet Gift Box

I ordered the three-pack, cinnamon, cran-orange, and currant. So far, I have only had the cran-orange. They are wonderful! A cross between a shortbread cookie and a pancake. I have made them in the past, being 75% Welsh but never having been to Wales, I was curious. These were so much better! Delicious with a cup of coffee or tea. I put one in the microwave for about 12 seconds, as the package suggested. Perfection! They arrived promptly, very nicely packaged in a sturdy box. They come four to a package and I ordered three varieties. These cakes are on the small side, at least by American standards, and are a bit pricey, but then again, isn't everything lately? I would definitely order these Welsh Cakes again, as a special treat.

These Welsh cakes were delicious! Not too sweet and perfect size! Absolute must have with a afternoon tea or coffee. We also tried it with the scone cream! Absolutely heavenly!

Have as gifts to family and they were pleased. Good reminder of the cakes on wales.

I grew up eating Welsh Cakes, and can say these are very good.

What a treat! Heat in the microwave for 10 seconds, dribble with a little honey, and it's a breakfast treat or afternoon snack that can't be beat. Chose the orange and blueberry welch cakes for a Valentine's surprise gift. And they have a good shelf life if you want to savor them over time. What a great find for everyday or special treats.
