On the costly side but nice. Very fragrant. Nice bath size bar.

My three pack was simply packed in a plastic bag. Each bar was individually wrapped in plastic with a small label on the side that read Savon Doux – Mild Soap. On this label were the ingredients which I included at the end of my review*. My analysis of the ingredients was that the water-based formula uses palm oil derived surfactants, shea butter to moisturize, is scented with lavender and rosemary and colored with ultramarines. There are, of course, other ingredients, including other fragrances and preservatives. Overall, I found these ingredients pretty typical of soap, and while the claimed 97% natural may be true, it is nothing that special. I did not see anything objectionable (or that special) about the ingredients.The soap bars are a chunky 3 ½ x 2 x 1 inch and feel good in my hands—I appreciate a man-sized soap bar. The bars themselves look a bit more bougie than the packaging with embossed text as shown in my pictures and the Amazon product page. In my tests of the soap, it has a powerful, but not overwhelming lavender-rosemary scent that is unisex and pleasant. Applied to wet skin it lathers pretty much ideally. Its sudsy enough to not only wash away dirt but feel luxurious doing so. Once the lather is rinsed, there is a mild but noticeable lavender-rosemary scent on the skin. I think the residual scent level was close to ideal. I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised how great my hair looks after using these products. I need something lightweight and less bulky for traveling, so I thought I'd try it out before we go. I have coarse, frizzy-curly hair that I tame with expensive, non-sulphite, natural moisturizing shampoo, and conditions. I flat iron, and use leave in products. My scalp would itch and I would shed constantly. I've used these shampoo and conditioner bars four times now, and I'm so impressed. My hair is softer, easier to tame, and it actually shines. The only thing that was a little hard to get used to was the lack of a lot of suds, but that got better once I learned how to use it.I bought the sandalwood scent and I love it.

I love this soap, creamy , fragrant Lavender and it lathers very well.

I was introduced to these soaps while living in Europe and I was so happy to find a way to get them after returning to the US. I have very sensitive skin and have to be careful with fragrances. These smell divine and don’t make me break out.

These sweet soaps are absolutely beautiful! They're smooth, individually wrapped, and would even make a nice gift... except the scent. It's overpowering and I don't think it smells pleasant (I got the orange blossom scent). I know smell preferences are relative, but, personally, it's difficult for me to imagine someone thoroughly enjoying that strong, strange scent.
