GREAT
Ethernet port on my pc didn’t work so I got this. Works great, feels like solid quality and I have zero issues, much much better than a crappy usb wireless.

Works Great, Easily Recognized by MacOS, Nice Value!
Original shipment arrived in a completely unsealed brown Amazon envelope so of course it was empty. Amazon Customer Service was great and shipped a replacement which arrived in a very well-sealed envelope. Purchased this to add Ethernet to a Macbook Pro, hub was easily recognized by the Mac OS (Sequoia), works very well, connection is stable, cable is long enough to keep it out of the way. Note it connects by USB-A, not USB-C. Nice item to have for those who like a wired connection to a network.

Worked perfectly I love the extra USB ports
For me this was a plug and play on my Linux system no setting up so for windows and Mac it should be a no brainer

USB ports work, but RJ45 might as well be dialup
UPDATE - After leaving this feedback, the company contacted me and was more than happy to send me a replacement. I was certainly willing to try another one, as maybe it was an anomaly or another issue that I hadn't been able to find. Received the new one, exact same, and plugged it in, and no surprise, nothing changes. I can pull 90's down and solid up in the high 30's or low 40's. Out of curiosity, it dawned on me, I wonder if the switch has something to do with this? So after some recon work, I was able to pin point the issue. It was NOT the adapter here! It was the switch. For some reason, my unmanaged GS316 switch was only sending the data over at 100mb/s. Well, there in lies the issue and now I have to figure this out. BUT, the moral of this story, other than the device getting hot, it does work as stated. I really have nothing to complain about. I wouldn't have found this had it not been for the replacement, so thank you to the company for the replacement and I will put it to good use. This adapter DOES work, and it's a plug n play. I am really not sure what to do here. I can return in, for a few more days, and might if there are no suggestions to how this can be resolved, but the RJ45 port, using Cat6A cables is running so so so very slow. Device does heat up as reported, but that doesn't bother me. The USB ports work well, and very much extend the full functionality of the USB ports, however no lights (I knew this but it's so standard I don't know why it's not included) and the Wired Internet connection is beyond slow. I have tested my macbook pro with another USB ethernet adapter, and I get the great speeds that I was hoping for (960mbps down), but with this one, I am lucky to get 50. Wireless, I can pull about 500-700mbps down, but for some reason, I can't get the pull GIG that I should be able to get with this. Nice little device, but super underwhelmed at this point. Yes, it works, but the primary reason I bought this was to get the GIG speeds and seeing as I am getting about 4-5% of those, it's likely going back...sorry to say

Works Great!
Works as it should. Nice and small, my Ethernet connection doesn’t have any problems, and it’s super handy as I only have one USB port on my laptop. Great product, and I would buy it again if ever needed.

Check your switch or network port
I purchased this for my Surface Pro device that by default works exclusively off Wifi. I have excellent Wifi in my home (which I try to limit to my IoT devices and mobile phone) but also have CAT6 installed in all the rooms that all the TVs and my other laptop connects to. I purchased the device to keep a physical connection when sitting any area that allowed for one. Like some of the other stated, after plugging in the device which was automatically detected, I got just under 100mbps download and upload speeds which is far below what I'm paying for from my ISP. I tried updated drivers as I saw noted in one of the comments (but for a Macbook) and there was no change. I found the website for the manufacturer and submitted a Support request that I'm still awaiting a response for. However, I kept reading through the comments that mentioned that they identified the issue was actually with their network port after receiving a replacement. I thought, "No way!", but I tested this out anyway and it turns out that it is my network port. All the ports in my house connect to a network switch that in turn connects to my router. After running simple tests (by merely changing port connections) and finally doing a real diagnostic check of that port through my switch interface, that one port (out of all of them) is only configured for 100mbps. So, apparently I have a connectivity issue that I have to address with that one port (most likely a bad connection that I need to punch down again). However, the ABLEWE USB 3.0 HUB/Ethernet NIC works as advertised and will provide up to 1000Gbps provided your infrastructure supports it and there are no hardware or software issues within your infrastructure or device that is diminishing service.

Does exactly what I need it to!
I recently started a new job that lets me work from home, which I'm LOVING (both the job and the working from home!) However the issued older laptop is wireless only, and the wifi connection isn’t always the most reliable. This became an issue when I was having interruptions during work, rendering me incapable of working. I'd never heard of anything like this but my senior father thought that this type of device must be a thing since laptops are so thin nowadays, there's no spot for an ethernet port, so I went hunting on Amazon and found this affordable magical little device. It’s a small, plug and play USB adapter that adds an ethernet port to my laptop. Plug it in and you will get a steady, wired internet connection. I like that there are three USB ports because it lets me connect my mouse, keyboard, and headphones with just one USB plug, and the ethernet connection on this device ensures I stay connected at all times. If you’re dealing with inconsistent wifi and need a simple solution, this is definitely worth considering.

With recent Windows 10 updates, I have seen my family member's laptop slowdown on wifi speed significantly. I also have witnessed many slim laptops do not even come with ethernet port any more as wifi has increased in speed and reliability. However, when you are in a place where wifi is slow or non-existent, or when wifi is not functioning properly, this gadget would be a requirement. That said, I highly recommend this product as it provided an excellent ethernet speed and versatility of USB expansion ports. The built quality seems solid and effective in handling all that are thrown into the device.

I use this on my Smart Tv to increase Network connection speed (standard RJ45 on tv only carry 100mbps) With this adapter, I can use the actual bandwidth available at home (200mbps)
