UltraCruz Pure Flax Oil Supplement for Horses and Livestock, 1 Gallon

My horse has been super super itchy and this made it stop in less than a week. O had tried alot of other things but this did the trick. Even with Flys and sweat she us more comfortable. She used to itch her tail head almost bare even though vet never found signs of worms. He suggested this kind of product and he was right. Her coat was always shiny and beautiful so not sure if this helps that or not

I have a very sick horse, she is insulin resistant and she has Cushing’s. She has had laminitis twice. This oil has helped her so much. Her skin was peeling in large flakes, that stopped with this oil. Her hooves look amazing, hard, soles are hard and a long time crack is almost gone. She gets other supplements and prescriptions as well but I know the oil helped greatly. Her mane and tail are thick full and long. This oil is expensive but worth every penny. It is sent well sealed so as not to leak. Buy the pump, it saves on the oil.

I have tried several different oils to add to my old QH gelding's feed to help keep wight on him and this is the first product approved by my vet that has really helped his coat as well as maintaining weight. I pour 2 OZ on his hay so he doesn't miss any of the oil. He tended to miss some when it was in his feed supplement.

Hard to pour and too expensive.

Purchased 4 bottles in the last 4 months, 2 of those bottles arrived rancid. The oil should be golden yellow but is dark green and stinks. It's a good product and its good for my horses, when its not rancid. I did get refunded promptly. The 2 bottles that were not rancid were great.

My pup was always Itching and scratching, so I looked into what supplement is good for skin and coat, and flaxseed oil kept coming up in searches. The supplements for dogs are in tiny bottles with huge prices. So I went the equine supplement route. Just do the math for the weight of your pup, and this supplement is perfect. I use 2 pumps from a old soap dispenser in his food. He scratches a lot less, and sheds a bit less too.

I have been feeding some sort of flax supplement for several years. All of them contain some sort of additive, the last one was only a bit of flax, mostly ground oats. If you're looking for a pure flax product, get this. I do recommend getting the pump for an additional $5-6, it makes dispensing the oil much easier. I top dress it onto their hay pellet and they eat it willingly.

This has kept his coat shiny even when it got long and shaggy in winter. Has helped his hooves, main and tail as well.
