A Happy Reader!!!!!!
As we all know we have met John (Gilo) in many of the previous book in this series, finally we get his own book, he is the one who always gets Tilly fired up and she gets to put a can of whoop a** on him, which he loves. In this book we get to see who he really is, he opens his home to Abbey, who is left home-less with a broken body unable to take care of herself. John is there for her in ways that no man has never been there ever before in her life. Abbey is a Domme and John is what most would consider a submissive. During the time Abbey and John live together he takes care of her while she deals with a back injury, an operation and recovery. I myself can relate to Abbey. While they were getting to know one another they develop a relationship that changes some of the dynamics of who they are. They find love and total commitment to one another, that is all anyone can truly ever want from the ones who love us. They both have waited a long time for this kind of love. They have to deal with the unfinished baggage of Abbey's ex, love how John takes care of that. We meet up familiar friends from previous books, as always Ms. Dalton never leaves this reader down. I am happily waiting for the next book. This is a must read, if you have not read the rest of this series please start with the first one. Happy Reading!!!!!!!

A Good Ouch
Spoiler Ahead This was a very good book that I like a lot. Abbey Rockland's life goes from bad to worse when she learns she needs back surgery the same day her long-term boyfriend dumps her, making her homeless so Tilly to the rescue. John "Gilo" Gilomen is the club clown he is a male sub that's a little bratty at the club outside of the club he is a man that is in control and in charge he has a job that at times he maybe in the public eye so he can't risk being outed while in a kink club so he wears mask. Gilo's best friend has just died and he feels helpless to help and comfort his friends family. When he hears about Abbey he offers to let her move in with him as a roommate he is also pissed about he ex Tom dumping her in her time of need. Abbey has a problem with asking for help living with John she realizes how much he likes taking care of her she also realizes that he is avoiding his friends death by helping her. This was another hot kinky book by Tymber John and Abbey were perfect for each other. The sex scene's were hot this book was well written like the rest of the books in this series. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Switch meets switch. Not her best work.
I'm sorry to rate this so low. I've enjoyed so many of Ms Dalton's books, but this one didn't do it for me. In this tale, Abbey is a Domme facing surgery for a back problem. The stress of her medical condition along with her boyfriends loss of a job bring the relationship into crisis. He leaves her for a new start in a new city days before her surgery. Left without a home her Suncoast Society friends step in to help her out. John, a casual friend at best, offers her (and her tortoise) to live with him. He's suffering too. His best friend unexpectedly died so he's hungry for a distraction to help him deal with his grief. Within a week it seems like, simple attraction turns into outright love. She's discovered she's not a Domme, but a switch, and they start riffing off each other...both playing at top and bottom. Of course there is the mild drama of Abbey's ex in the background as well as sharing her new found Switch status with her community. This story was sooooo disappointing. One thing I love about Ms Dalton's books is the honesty of the emotion. This relationship felt false and forced. Aside from liking the way he looks in a suit, I didn't feel like Abbey really was deeply attracted to John. And she felt hung up on Tom because she so often recognized John's good qualities by contrasting them with Tom's. I would have much preferred the emphasis be on how comfortable and natural SHE felt...as if she was finally discovering and expressing her true self with him and as a switch. And John has such a defining childhood. I thought that could have been emphasized a lot more...since the reason he felt so lost at the death of his friend was that his friend was the only one who knew Johns true history in all its gory detail. Abbey was the next person he could feel safe and confide in. Ms Dalton's books are usually so engaging, intimate and emotional. This one felt rushed and missed the mark.

Beautiful and Heartfelt Story!
I have to say that I just love the Suncoast Society series. Tymber has created this world that makes you just want to be a part of. She creates beautiful prose and everytime I pick up one of these books, I lose all track of time. Each book in this series takes you on a journey with a different couple. This one is especially beautiful because it deals with some really tough emotions as John tries to cope with his best friends death and Abbey tries to deal with the loss of her very long relationship. Abbey also has back issues that will require surgery, but between Tilly, Chris, Landon and John she fights her way to recovery and ultimately love. I can't wait to read more of this brilliant series!

John and Abby are smoking hot and fun...
...and such a blast. I genuinely love their banter and complete honesty. Putting it out there, respecting each other, and thereby fulfilling each others kinky needs, just filled my heart up.

Intense, emotional, witty, humorous!
Impossible not to fall in love with this switchy couple. The thing about this author, her writing style, and her plots is they are never predictable. I love all the returning characters, and the easy camaraderie among most. I love that both characters are in such dark places, but they are able to draw on their inner strengths to help each other which in turn helps themselves. The ending to this read is smoking hot and purrfect! 100% recommended

Another great book!
As always, Tymber writes a great story! I love reading about the Suncoast Society and their escapades. Tilly Rocks! This was an interesting story concept, because I don't think I've ever read about two people, at low points in their lives, meeting and falling in love. It was great to read about the other side of Gilo, not just as a S.A.M., I really enjoyed this story! Different but I loved it!

Switching roles
This is a sensitive and charming addition to the authors Suncoast Society series, about a group of friends and acquaintances in the BDSM lifestyle. It's a realistic series which features people facing the sorts of challenges that affect everyone, kinky or vanilla. Abby and John are in their 40's, she's a Domme about to undergo serious spinal surgery, whose boyfriend abandons her just when she's at her most vulnerable. John is a seasoned masochist (as opposed to submissive) who plays hard but avoids commitment. He steps in and offers Abby and her tortoise George a home just when they need it most. This is charming love story featuring two very sympathetic characters and their supportive network of friends.By the end of the book, both Abby and John find that roles which they thought were fixed are more fluid than either of them had ever imagined.

Addictive
Another highly addictive read that you'll struggle to put down (even when you need sleep). As with all books in this series it can be read as a standalone but recommended to read in order as previous characters make appearances in later books. This is Gilo and Abbey story. Gilo we've met in previous books and it was brilliant to see a different side to him than the 'joker' at collaring ceremonies we've seen before. This is their journey of discovering their 'switch' sides, which makes for a beautiful love story.Hot sex scenes, fantastic characters and a beautiful love story. A highly recommended book that will definitely be on my re-read list.
