Good Understanding of hell
I found his book to be very helpful in gaining a better understanding of hell. It is a subject that too many believers want to avoid but we do harm to ourselves and others when we do so.

At last I can truly see.
I am thankful that I now look at hell as a vivid reality similar to the world I am living presently in now. To visualize that a demon can walk in to my room now and physically attack me has poured a bucket of cold water over me . You definitely have my attention.A Powerful captivating read

Meh, not impressed
I just finished reading the book and I was not impressed. My background is I was a Christian fundamentalist for 20 years until last year. Then I turned my back on God and rejected Him. Now I hate God and Christians. I was curious about a book on Hell because I said I wanted to go there, so I better find out where I am going. First, this book presumes the Biblical worldview is the only valid worldview. Alternative theories on evil and its origin are dismissed as nonsense. Next, I don't see how the soul can make an irrevocable decision on God at the moment of death of the body was feeding it faulty data throughout life. The author never explains that. To describe the nature of Hell the book relies on the work of medieval theologians, Dante, and C.S. Lewis as much as the Bible. These works don't carry the same authority and truthfulness as the Bible according to Christian fundamentalism. Finally, if I hate God why would I not want to go to Hell? The suffering is just the trade off from an eternity away from the God I hate. So, maybe for a saved Christian this book might motivate evangelism to his or her lost friends and family, but it fails at scaring a harden non-believer into repentance. At least it failed for me.

Scared the **** out of me
I'm not Catholic, but wanted to know what Catholics believe about hell. The author made his point very well. I would buy his books again.

Fabulous read
I love Anthony DeStephanos writing. He has a gift for hooking his audience right away and keeping them interested. I learned some things in this book. It also helped me to understand more about Hell AND Heaven. I have read almost all of Mr. DeStephanos books and have never been disappointed. It's obvious that he loves God and I feel that God has gifted him to write his fabulous books.

Something to think about
Other than the brief descriptions written about hell and the conversation Jesus spoke about with the rich man and Abraham and Lazarus, we don’t know much more about what the expectations might be there. Things like will people hangout together, do they sleep, eat, etc. the writer tries as best as possible to give the reader a possible scenario of what hell could be like for the unbeliever. This is a real eye opener.
