Thermos 24 Ounce Hydration Bottle with Connected Smart Lid, Teal (SP4005TL4)

I have had the Thermos Smart Lid and bottle for about a week. I wanted to try it before posting my opinion. I love my Fitbit, exercise daily, and attempt to drink a gallon of water each day. My Fitbit has been doing a great job of tracking my activity, but I was struggling to keep track of my water intake. When this product released, I was beyond excited to make this purchase. My initial reaction was the same as many others. It's very pricey for a water bottle. But, how do you put a price on your health and well-being? Reaching my daily goals are very important to me.When the bottle arrived, I downloaded the app and began using the bottle. The software is very accurate. I love watching my progress. I can now hit my water goal and I can hit it early enough in the evening so that I'm not drinking before bedtime. The Thermos software and the Fitbit software seem to be syncing very well with each other. I've had no issues with the app.I noticed that another complaint is that the lid is not dishwasher safe. This is not an issue for me. I don't mind washing the lid by hand. I like the secure lid and I don't find it difficult to open. I've laid the bottle on its side on my passenger car seat and it doesn't leak. The only thing that I find annoying about the bottle is that it sweats profusely if I use ice, and the bottle is not insulated so my ice melts rather quickly. I did not give the item one less star, because I knew the bottle was not insulated when I ordered it. I can't complain about something that I knew before ordering.It is an expensive water bottle, but I would order this item again. I have been very pleased with my decision to purchase it.I hope my review helps.

The lid is supposed to track your water consumption, alert you when you need to drink throughout the day, sync with your Fitbit if you have one, plus show the water level and temp. Out of all of these features the only one that ever worked let alone worked every time was the temperature gauge.This by far has been the worst 60 dollars I've ever spent on an item. First let me say I bought this item with my own money and this is the second lid that I've had because the first one just stopped working. As I said the only feature that worked was the temperature reading. The lid synced with my Fitbit and worked for maybe two weeks correctly, the amounts were never right from that point forward and the Thermos app itself never sent a single reminder alert.The second lid worked about the same but for maybe a little bit longer, I didn't mind the ounces being too far off, it was manageable. Then they released a firmware update and it's been terrible since then. The device has gone nuts, one sip registers as 8 ounces, it synced back up to Fitbit showing 32 ounces for that one sip too. Also the temp that was the one thing that worked is now not working.I work with computers and mobile devices everyday in my regular 9 - 5 so I did the trouble shooting on the lid which at least saved the first one for a few weeks. Now it's dead, completely dead. Not only is it dead but the app isn't working too. I've reloaded the app, tried to resetup the lid and now it can't find the lid at all. I'm done, this device is crap. I shouldn't have bought it and for that price without it even being a lined or sealed bottle to keep liquid cold, it's crap.Moral - Save your money, get a lined bottle that keeps liquid cold, set a timer so you know when to drink it, put in your liquid amount manually on your Fitbit and don't ever buy a device that's only function is to tell you as your water gets warmer.

I purchased this and I had purchased the hydrate smart water bottle as well. This app is better than the hydrate but the blinking hydrate bottle does make you pick it up and drink it. but this works well and the app works with the fitbit iconic watch. Which is what I was looking for. It also works on the planet fitness apps. So I switched bottles to be able to use it with the apps. I dig the blink, but need it to work with the fitbit. So this one is better for me. No flaws and easy to use.
