This fan is actually nicer than the pictures show. Installation would have been easier if I’d ever installed one before, as the directions were straightforward. There is no noise from the fan and it functions properly, which is amazing since I was the one who installed it. The only negative is that the bulbs that came with it aren’t very bright, which isn’t a big deal. Well worth the money.

For my install I used the flush mount option with a nontraditional ceiling finish. I had difficulty putting all four screws from the canopy into the mounting bracket. I also found the canopy got slightly mangled as I installed it. Fortunately I was able to salvage it. The screws for installing the mounting bracket also seemed questionable. I made a trip to the hardware store to get a couple the were more robust. A little peace of mind goes a long way. If I were installing this again, I would add some thick washers between the mounting bracket and ceiling. My install was probably not typical as the bracket was screwed into a ceiling joist with plaster between.The faux finish on the bulb cage left something to be desired. While I read that one other reviewer went for black, I opted for Krylon hammered copper.One other downside, one of the bulbs was defective. I've replaced it and have had no problems with the fixture.All told, I spent more on this fan than other options, and even then I spent more (screws, paint, bulbs) to make it right.Four stars is almost too generous, but I am overall happy with the final product.

The only thing I can tell you. We recived it. Which for Amazon lately is a huge win. Amazon gave us several dates and updates... and it arrived early. I can tell you the light came in, it's beautiful and as of right now functioning as it should. It seems of good quality. It installed very easily. We had a bit of a problem with balancing ... little help from YouTube and it is up and running and quiet. We are remodeling and going for a warm rustic look. This checked all the boxes for us. We will see if the quality holds up.

This fan works well and love that you don't have to worry about pulling off a glass dome to clean! It's so cute and can be used for farm, industrial, rustic looks. Quiet!
