I have been looking for a prayer rope to keep handy as a bookmark. This is a nice size for that. I also have giant man hands so the spacing of the knots are confortable to me. I don't know what the cording is made of, but it seems quite hearty.Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

It helps me to focus and pray when my mind is weak. Heavy distraction? Not while holding this! If you consecrate to the Lord and use this? Even better

I purchased this when I was first baptized into the Orthodox Christian Church and didn’t know what I now know. It is my understanding, and I might be mistaken, that prayer ropes should come from a Christian Orthodox monastery. Whether I’m mistaken or not, my preference is for coming from a known monastery. My church sells these in our book store and I am confident they come from one of the monasteries we support.Since I chose to not use this prayer rope for my personal use I hung it from my rear view mirror. I can say it is well made and hanging in the sun as it has speaks for its quality. It has an extra knot, which I’m not sure why, and it sounds like the one I have is a common thing from the reviews I’ve read. There are reputable Christian Orthodox websites where you can purchase a prayer rope, and many other tools for your salvation, that is constructed in a monastery.

I just love this product! Beautifully made, amazing value for the money. Very sturdy. You can just wrap it around your hands a couple of times and hold onto the cross or hang it anywhere. Beautiful. I am ordering a second one for my sister now.

This is the third Prayer Rope I’ve ordered from this seller. The two previous purchases were well made and included a card stating made on Mt. Athos.This Prayer Rope is unfortunately very poorly made…it looks like someone’s first try at making one and did not have the made on Mt.Arhos card included. It was to be a gift but now that is not an option.I’ve lost my trust in this seller!Please inspect your product before selling it!
